8/10 Great

04 May 2016

Great value- comfortable with superb breakfast

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The rooms are big enough and the bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was superb ( really good selection of the good quality food). It takes one bus ( no 69) to get to the airport and the trams to get to the City Centre and Museum Quarter are on your doorstep. It is about 30mins tram journey from the City though.

The best thing about my stay was...

Breakfast, Clean rooms/Bathroom
10/10 Amazing

Quick check in. All staff pleasant and extremely helpful. Good location. Quieter part of Amsterdam, but short tram to centre. Tram stop outside hotel.

The best thing about my stay was...

Lovely room and great selection at breakfast.
6/10 Good

18 August 2010

Blue Square Amsterdam August 2010

Very clean hotel. Our quad room was spacious, quiet, well laid out and well made up each day. The downside to the hotel is that it has virtually nothing other than residential rooms and a restaurant. No lounge, no games room, no gym and no bar to speak of (unless you count the reception area as a bar). Getting into Amsterdam took about 20 minutes on tram 7 and 14 which pass the door, or tram 13 which is about 200m away and links directly to Central Station (about 25-30 minutes journey). Journey's became a bit tedious after the novelty wore off!

The best thing about my stay was...

Anne Frank Museum for the adults, the canal bikes for the 12+ children.
