Basic noisy but cheap
We asked for 9th floor but got 6th. When we got to the room the toilet leaked and when I went to reception she offered us towels. When I said that was dangerous she moved us to 713 this room smelt horrible. Rooms are big but want up dating. This is a cheap basic hotel up cardiac hill

Perfect base for us, a party of 42, 26 youth rugby players and 16 adults attending the beach rugby tournament. Close enough for an easy stroll to the strip but far enough away to get some sleep.
The best thing about my stay was...Relaxed atmosphere and attitude towards us.

Not a family hotel
The description of the hotel is far from accurate. It is very close to the strip and the noise throughout the night does not stop. The receptionist said 'this hotel is not for families'. The indoor pool is not indoor at all, it is open to the elements and is only covered by a roof that has an apartment above. The Jacuzzi was closed and full of sweet wrappers and empty cans. There was no cutlery in the room when we arrived, given that we were a family, they put us right above the outdoor music centre which was still going at 4am and this just set the tone for the holiday. Brilliant for stag or hen parties, but not for families.

Wouldn't stay there again
Appartment were not clean, requested pool view and we were put on the 3rd floor which was below pool level. appartment was not cleaned at all in the four days we were there , very noisy all nite with loud music from the hall way and room next door. The balconys were not safe, very easy to step over de railings and fall on to the street , the pool area was nice but pool bar was expensive. Over all disappointed with the hotel and wldnt return to magaluf.

The best thing about my stay was...Central location

The room was really good , but we were level with the pool and they played really loud music all day from about 10 in the morning until midnight , we couldn't go out one night as it was heavy rain , but couldn't watch the tv as you couldn't hear it over the music. Overall it was good though. Very spacious. You need to be fit to go up the very steep hill to reach it !!!! I wouldn't go there in tJuly or August as I would imagine it would be very noisy at night , we went in September/ October and it was fine.
The best thing about my stay was...We got a good nights sleep with no disturbances.

Budget stay - great for partying
Mrs Roberts, Yorkshire
Very basic and dated but cleanish and a good location for the strip. Would not recommend for families or those wanted an early night. The hill is not too bad at all and for the price, we have no complaints.

It is what it is..
I've read a few negative reviews on this place and I'm sure some are justified but you get what you pay for. 16 of us went for a stag do and it done the job just fine. Managed to check in nearly 3 hours early which was a bonus. The pool area was decent, lots of people throwing balls which got annoying but there was a lower level which no one used. The beach was a 2 minute walk down the hill and the strip was on the doorstep. The rooms were a bit battered and dated but they were fine for sleeping in. One room had faulty air con and the fridge didn't work so the staff moved us with no issues. It was noisey at night but if you're out till 6am you won't notice! If you want a place to relax this is the not the hotel. If you want somewhere that is on the strip and lively then it is ideal.
The best thing about my stay was...Alex's bar

Good location - disgusting hotel!
Hotel location is perfect yet due to being close to the main strip is noisy until around 7am - you expect this somewhere like Magaluf though! One evening there were 24 room break ins at the hotel which worried everyone I was with. They have safes in the room which you are unable to use & the man who welcomed us at reception told us if we needed a safe we had to pay for the ones in reception and they do not take any responsibility for theft. This was said with a smirk as if to say your stuff is likely to go 'missing'! The pool area is the cleanest place of the whole hotel & reception isn't too bad either. The rooms however are disgusting! Our towels when we arrived were covered in stains so we went to the shop to buy our own! The floor and shower wall were covered in other peoples hair due to the room not being cleaned properly! I even found a fake nail on our floor!! The air-con is non-exsistant yet when I went to reception about this they did try & rectify it by putting a spare power key in our room so the air con stayed on all day - this made it a little more bearable & the lady who dealt with me at reception was very helpful. I think you can get this hotel fairly cheap but paying £60/night for it I didn't feel this was acceptable. I love Magaluf & have been 3 times, I expect noise & lack of sleep but I don't expect dirty rooms & rude staff! Another worry is that they give out keys to anyone & if you ask for a spare room key they'll just give it out without even clarifying who you are! A little worrying! I would not return to this hotel, unless I was paid to stay there! Even then I'd have to really think about it!!
The best thing about my stay was...Location; close to strip & beach, just a shame about the hill to get to the hotel!

My Husband booked a short trip away for me and my best friend, Didn't know what to expect but on arrival, reception were friendly and helpful, although the check in said 3pm, we were able to check in at 1pm. Walls were a little thin between the rooms but nothing too bad. Pool was ok, good size and got a sunbed ok for the time of year. The Hill getting to the hotel is a killer!!

Just returned from a 4 day stag do with 16 friends and what a weekend it was!! Reading reviews before we went I was a little worried about what I had booked for the 16 lads that traveled but there was no need to worry. It's brilliant! Yes the rooms are very dated and minimal but for £8 a night I wouldn't expect anything more, but it has everything u need, a bed, shower and a fridge! The pool area really where you want to be, busy and Lively with music playing all day, the bar prices a little bit more than they are down the strip but still not extortionate. A 2 minute walk to the strip but be ready for the hill on your return.. It's a killer. Overall it's a great place to stay if ur in a group of friends who are going to party, stag do or hen do. Not a family style hotel so I Wouldn't take kids there. But I wold stay here again for a similar holiday!
The best thing about my stay was...The pool area!

The apartments were clean and the maid service was first class. friendly reception. Pool superb with plenty of sunbeds so no need to get out a towel early. Be warned though come kicking out time on the magaluf strip and this place goes from peace to complete bedlam. families forget it . singles, Groups ,stags and hens this is the place you wanna be.

hotel does what it says 'on the tin'!
Julie Boo and the Huddersfield crew., Huddersfield
for a cheap and cheerful weekend away, for 7, 40somethings! - this hotel is perfect, if a little loud, at night, sometimes - but for a hotel near the Magaluf strip we didn't expect anything less. Hotel room was clean and tidy, when all you need is a bed and somewhere to change its fine. The hilly location is not recommended for those with bad knees.
The best thing about my stay was...proximity to beach and nightlife.

Perfect hotel for the typical English party yob of all ages
Jessica Byers, Hull, England
The hotel itself was very satisfactory. It was a little over priced for what we got, especially as it was at the time advertised at the TRH Palma Nova, therefore thinking we were staying in Palma Nova and not 30 seconds from Magaluf Strip. I enjoyed my holiday, however, stayed away from the partying and vulgar behavior of the English yobs that seemed to flock there in their thousands. Our room was mediocre; the bedrooms were small and cramp and dark and hot, and therefore we ended up sleeping on the sofa our hole stay as it was much more spacious, cooler and didn't feel like a prison cell. the 'kitchen area' was far from that; there wouldn't be much difference then making food and eating off the floor on The Strip. After reading some reviews after my friend booked the hotel, i was mortified; i read stories about all night parties, people breaking into the rooms, the cleaners stealing things, people banging on doors, and ringing door bells, people throwing up, throwing things over the balcony, not much help from the security, people having to pay for someone else kicking their door in and general English yob behavior. I read that you should try to get a room on level 5 or above, which we were given, and our room was 544 which was right at the end of the corridor, so no one walked passed our room, which i think was a good thing, however, right outside our door was the door to the fire exit onto the roof that many people seemed to want to go through to get onto the roof...which is weird.
The best thing about my stay was...we were able to get to other places (away from Magaluf) easily
