Facelift required and upgraded room security
The best thing about my stay was...The location and views from poolside rooms are excellent .the hotel is dated and is ready for updating.wouldnt waste money on the food as little choice and no children's food available except from the pool bar.

When we arrived the electricity was gone, we didn't have a problem with this as we were heading straight out. The reception dealt with this matter speedily. The sun bed situation is ridiculous which is nothing to do with the staff but to do with the guests. At 8am there is a queue at the door and once the door opens people sprint to the beds. Some people are gone for the entire day and their beds are still reserved. It states that beds must be occupied by 10.30 or towels will be removed. One morning I had been sunbathing from 9am and needed to go back to the room at 11 when I went back down at 11.30 my towels had been removed and beds were gone even though I had been there for 2 hours. My book had also been removed and never retrieved. the hotel is close to the beach and the strip so is very handy, you get what you pay for with this hotel and staff are not helpful or friendly. I would recommend purchasing the safety deposit box as there was a break in while I was staying there and the guests iPhones, iPad and money has been taken.

I have just came back from a two week family holiday here in Santa ponsa. This has being my fourth year in a row staying here. The location is fantastic the rooms are spotless and the kids love it. The only thing that would let it down is the sunbed dash u need to be on the queue for a sunbed by 8 if your later you might not get a bed! Our first week was like a stampede for beds proper sunbed run but the second week wasn't people queued but there was still beds by 9 or even 10 it felt like a different holiday. There a two lifeguards one will take towels from beds if there isn't anyone on them by 10.30 and the other doesn't my towels were taking once even though I only left to go the supermarket! Haven't said this it still didn't ruin our holidays we had an amazing time will return next year.
The best thing about my stay was...Location and clean hotel good pool area

Great Hotel - perfect location
Tara Bates, Ireland
We stayed at this hotel last week and I honeslty couldnt fault the place. We stayed with our 13 yr old daughter and the location was perfect. We had a lovely see view and our apartment was facing the pool. Plenty of pubs, shops and entertainment close by to suit all tastes. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed the only I would say is that perhaps they could do with a little updating.

My Stay at the Jardin
John Ryan, Dublin, Ireland.
I like the Jardin Del Mar and I enjoyed my stay there as I did before too. Hotel staff were very friendly kind and welcoming as well as being understanding and supportive too. the one little thing that I encountered this time was that on my arrival the hotel was double booked for the first night of my stay. However I was re accommodated for this but at the time I was a little bit put out. but over all my experience and stay at the hotel was very good and pleasant and positive
The best thing about my stay was...the pool area, the room friendly staff

Loud noise every night and rude staff
Steve , Newcastle
This hotel is not for families if you like to sleep!! Every night there was shouting and music until 2/3am. On our last night the shouting continued until 3.45am then a big fight broke out and there was screaming and glass breaking in the room next to us. The staff are also very rude and when I asked for some ice to cool down my babies bottle I was told it would be 1 Euro and when I questioned this with the barman he told me to get it from the fxxxxx supermarket. There also large groups of stag do's staying here. If you want to go on holiday and get drunk with your kids and stay up all night then this is the perfect hotel for you.
The best thing about my stay was...Handing the keys back as we left.

Great hotel - apart from the stag
Galway Lad, Galway, Ireland
Absolutely fabulous hotel. Rooms had cooking facilities and air conditioning. Bed sheets and towels changed on a regular basis. View was not over the pool area but for us, this was not a problem. Pool area was large with ample supply of deck chairs. Bar has a good selection on the menu which would cater for most needs. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff in all areas of the hotel. Only issue was a stag of 21 form Scotland that booked in one morning. They were straight down to the bar beside the pool. They became very noisy and some of their behaviour and language was unacceptable for the large number of kids around the pool.. Would definitely go again but only if sure no Stags/hens would be there.

Excellent hotel and location for all ages! Sea view is a must!
I loved the hotel location and sea views. I would recommend asking for a front facing sea view and also the larger style room. It seems there are a few different styles. Food at the pool bar was fantastic and the staff are all very helpful. Rooms are basic and need modernised but all clean. My son loved the mini Rico and the kids entertainer was really good. Overall great experience.
The best thing about my stay was...The location as it was quiet enough but a 10 minute walk down to the centre. It has a lot of lovely restaurants surrounding it and the square with bars and kids amenities is 2 minute walk. It's got everything you need.

Fab short break in this adequate 3* apts. Rooms are good but basic. In need of modernisation but very clean . The selling point is defiantly the view. Pay a bit extra and wake up to fantastic sea and nd bay views. Pool is lovely . Plenty of beds and unfortunately the pool bar was Under refurbishment . The hotel bar was clean and food great for lunches etc. Would definitely return.

One word Folks... GO
Mr and Mrs Thorpe, Midlands
Returned from this hotel 3 days ago. Weary re some of the reviews. Need not have worried. Friendly, professional, helpful staff throughout. Clean comfortable rooms, amazing views over the sea (did request and pay for such). Lovely fresh food, and plenty of choices. Loads of coffee/eateries just outside the front door. Head to Arkles across the road run by a delightful scots couple, or Gino Genellis further up. No problem with the sun beds, never had to put towels out early, lifeguard around the pool all day every day, have found this gem by chance but will be returning next year.
The best thing about my stay was...The Staff, the food, the location, the views in that order

Had a fabulous holiday this is a great hotel for views and close to entertainment and services. Rooms could do with upgrade but the size is very good with kitchenette living room and dining area bedroom and large balcony. TV has 4 free English channels. Staff helpful and cheerful. Lost our first booking through low cost holidays but rebooked with alpharooms. I had to pay extra for a great sea view but we'll worth it. Going again soon hopefully.

August 2016 Great location on Santa Linda Bay with stunning views and beside the 'Square'. Rooms are small and a little tired, could do with a revamp and refurbish badly. Towels changed every 3 days and bedsheets every 5 days. Staff pleasant.

Nice clean hotel in great location , but my room was facing a Bushes which isn't a very nice view to wake up to , one receptionist Jordan I think his name is was very nice and helpful other than the lady receptionist who is very rude also booked self catering but still had to rent iron, kettle and toaster from hotel 10euro a week each and also have to pay for WiFi . As well as the pool doors open at 8 and if it not at the doors by 8am you won't get a sunbed, you have to actually run to get ur towel on a bed... Life guards well they were not life gaurds sat in a corner looking at the ground only time u can get a life gairds attention is by putting a blow up bed in the pool then they are quick to run to tell I to get it out but for as a child in need their useless...
The best thing about my stay was...best thing about it was the location and it was a very clean hotel

Nice Holiday But Would Not Go Back
I stayed here from 03/08/16 for 6 nights with my 2 children, mum, 2 sisters and nephew. The location was great and the cove a really beautiful place. Our room was on the 6 floor and we had a sea view which was amazing both day and night but the hotel was very dated and is in desperate need of being modernised. The rooms were clean but the safes did not work and the bedding and towels were only changed every 3 days with no main service on Thursdays or Sundays, which is poor. The pool area was nice but the sunbed procedure unbelievable and I have never seen anything like it. The doors are locked until 8am but people start queuing from 7am and then everybody literally runs for a sun bed once the doors open. I have never seen anything like it in my life and as a result had to get up at 6.50 every morning to sit in a queue for over an hour to be guaranteed sunbeds. The breakfast was nice but the evening meal was not something to be desired. There was not much choice and it was very bland. We ended up having to eat out 3 nights, which meant we spent more than money than we had budgeted for. On the plus side the pool bar serviced a nice lunch at reasonable prices. There was one nice man on reception but the other members of staff were not very helpful and made you feel bad for even asking a question. We had a lovely holiday but other than being in a good location with a nice view and having a secure pool area, which is ideal for children there is nothing worth recommending about this hotel.

On arrival at two in the morning 3/8/16 . Was told by a rude obnoxious unsympathetic porter that we had no room ,he told us to get a taxi to the Deya apts and come back tomorrow .we got no sleep here as it is in the heart of the entertainment and full of young loud revellers. We were staying for 5 days so lost the first day .We thought we were a one off,but no we were not,we spoke to an irate northern Irish family who received the same treatment and the next day another family of 6 who had the same thing happen. We complained like everyone else and were fobbed off with " we don't make the bookings" a very poor excuse for shoddy unprofessional treatment .Have stayed here twice before But won't be back .only shining light was daytime receptionist Paola who was very professional .the other lady receptionist was not very helpful. With no assurances of having the room in the accomodation that you booked I would steer clear.
