10/10 Amazing

27 April 2016

Amazing building & beautiful rooms

I stayed in the Titanic hotel with my boyfriend in a superior room and it was fantastic! The rooms looked exactly how they did on the picture which was amazing. The general feel and location of the building is seriously cool and before we even got to the room I was excited to explore. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room itself was great with an insanely large and comfy bed. The only drawback for me was that it was quite cool with a bit of a draft through the window, so if you feel the cold I'd take that into account, but otherwise I loved the giant, beautiful room, which even had a posh capsule coffee maker (also instant, decaf and tea for those inclined). The bathroom was my favourite bit - the bath was gorgeous and the walk in, drench shower was very impressive, and the toiletries provided smelled wonderful. The corridors and room were a bit dark but I think it really worked for the aesthetic of the hotel. We went for dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was a bit expensive for my student budget but pretty standard for a hotel restaurant, and the food & service really were lovely. It made the whole evening into more of an occasion. Using local (delta) taxis, the fare to Lime St Station was only £3.50 I loved the hotel and will definitely be returning! Would recommend to anyone.

The best thing about my stay was...

Bed, bathroom and general aesthetic!

Incredible hotel & amazing rooms

We stayed in a superior room in the Titanic on a Sunday night after always wanting to explore this amazing buiilding. The hotel is in an old restored warehouse with high ceilings and giant rooms, some have complained about the dark lighting etc, but I think it really suits the building. The best parts for us was the size of the room and its decor, the size and comfort of the bed (fantastic) and everything about the bathroom; I put "with bath if possible" as a request when I booked so we did get a lovely bath and amazing shower (with a giant showerhead). The toiletries provided were lovely smelling too. We also dined in the hotel restaurant, which was fairly expensive for two students but standard for a hotel restaurant. The food was lovely and it really made the evening feel like an occasion. The staff were always friendly, helpful and professional. As a local, I knew the best taxi company to call, and the taxi to Lime St station was £3.50 - not bad at all!! I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return!
