Excellent service and value for money
Elizabeth Chadwick, United Kingdom
We have just returned from a wonderful two week break at the Sunrise Hotel. We had requested a high floor, and were given a top floor room with a pool view. Whilst it wasn't one of the newly renovated rooms, it was nevertheless very comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed. The shutters were really useful at night. The reception staff, restaurant staff and cleaners all helped to make our stay a memorable one. Their genuine friendliness and desire to please, made us feel so welcome. The hotel is all inclusive and very reasonably priced. There is a good choice of food, freshly cooked. Fish- always nicely cooked- and vegetarian options were available every day. Homemade pickles were particularly tasty. The desserts were beautifully presented but there was not as much variation as you would perhaps hope for. Tea and good machine coffee was always available until late at night. The grounds surrounding the pool were well cared for, with new plantings being added. New poolside umbrellas were added to the plentiful sunbeds towards the end of our stay. The town, with its many tourist shops and restaurants, is easily walkable, though we used a car to get to the beach and for general touring. There were one or two occasions when a couple of the management team were a little abrasive towards some of the younger staff, making me feel uncomfortable for them. Be aware that the air conditioning and safe are chargeable.
The best thing about my stay was...The friendliness of the staff contributed to a pleasantly relaxing and welcoming atmosphere.

Amazing location. Wonderful staff. A little noisy!
Rebecca & Michael , United Kingdom, North East
The hotel itself is gorgeous. Recently renovated and the rooms are beautiful (but small). In the self catering rooms there is only a fridge. Nothing to keep food in, prepare a drink or use the hotel as self catering. No wardrobes or drawers so clothes were kept in the case. No hairdryer as stated. Air con was charged and safe was charged also. Towels and beds were changed regularly. Room was always cleaned each day. Staff were so welcoming, friendly and always there when needed. On an evening and early morning it was very noisy. Mainly the visitors going down for their breakfast in all inclusive. Woken each day approx 6:30am!! I never like to complain but if the above was changed for the next visit then I would happily given them a 10 rating.
The best thing about my stay was...Location & Staff

Lovely Hotel & Staff
Pat & Mark Smith, Hampshire
We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Sunrise, we had a beautiful modern pool view room, everything was spotless, staff very friendly, lovely pool and poolside bar area, always sun beds available around the pool, added bonus that this was a no children under 16 so lovely and peaceful round the pool which is what was needed after a hectic night out All inclusive drinks were okay if you like beer, soft drinks, tea or coffee which were serverd 11am to 11pm but spirits and cocktails were only served between 3pm to 7pm then 9pm to 11pm (as l don't drink beer was limited to drinks, but the 3 people l was with loved it. Food was nice and editable, had breakfast or lunch most days, only ate in the hotel in the evenings twice for the BBQ nights which was lovely but ate out other nights as we like to try different places to eat, we are definitely going to rebook and take more friends with us
The best thing about my stay was...The lovely hotel, the beautiful weather, the night life and not far to walk to the beech

I booked two rooms both next door to each other - so when we arrived I was informed they only had one room available and the only option was to have another room in a hotel across the road which my wife and I agreed to as this was only for two nights only - when we both saw the room that was on offer it was smelly and had insects crawling over the bedding - so we went back to the Sunrise to complain an that we would not be staying in the room that we were offered the Manager was not very happy with us - so being English and not wanting to make to much fuss I asked if they could put another bed in our two daughters room and agreed to stay for two nights only with them - I got the feeling they had over booked. As for the Hotel it was as other reviews have commented on that the pool was large and was very clean the rooms were of a 3 star rating and very clean. For me the food was not good - Breakfast was passable but lunch and dinner was not of a good standard - so we all eat out in the many taverna's and never had a bad meal. Both my wife and I were made to feel by the Managers that we were the complainants when in fact it was them who had no second room and I got them out of trouble - we felt they did not want us around. We will not be going back - as it was not a true Greek run hotel that others we have stayed in.
The best thing about my stay was...The Pool

Excellent family run hotel
Elizabeth Whitehouse, West Midlands
We spent 2 weeks here at the beginning of June. This is a small hotel where the impression is given that every guest is important. Food is beautifully presented, with every effort made to please all nationalities. The owners are very friendly, but not to cause annoyance. The whole area is spotlessly clean at all times. The one large pool is of an ample size, with numerous sun-beds. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk to the beach, either through the small town, or along country roads.the entertainment took place just once or twice per week, but was of a high standard, consisting of authentic Greek dancers and guitarists. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful countryside.
The best thing about my stay was...Beautiful area and sunny, hot weather!

Very, very pleased.
Steven Moulster, Southampton
We absolutely loved our stay at Sunrise. Incredibly friendly and helpful family, superb food. It was very quiet, but we were at the very start of the season, so cannot comment on how busy it'll be later in the summer. Reserved a star because the room wasn't as swish as some are, but perfectly adequate and we will be returning asap.
The best thing about my stay was...Zakynthos, weather, food.

Basic but friendly

Basic accommodation but other than that this place is well run and very friendly. It is a short walk to the beach and not too busy

Appropriate place for spending a nice holiday
Agnes & Gabor, Budapest
We were very satisfied with the Sunrise Hotel due to the followings: 1. Very nice and friendly staff 2. Clean environment (rooms and swimming pool are also very clean) 3. Delicious and plentiful breakfast 4. The place met expectations (the pictures show the truth) Besides the above mentioned things there are some disadvantages to know: 1. Tsilivi center and beach are at least 15 minutes walk from the hotel 2. The most amazing beaches and sightseeings are 0,5-1 hour far from the hotel by scooter (although it could be worse from an other city) All in all we recommend the Hotel, but to really enjoy the island you should rent a scooter or a car!
