one week in paradise world just in Stella Jandia Resort Aparthotel
kris (Poland), Poland/Kraszew
Fantastic stay in this beautifull resort, very nice big room with balcony and sea view, big shower room with everything needed in such place, very good food (with HB option), great area with many palm "streets" so you can walk everytime on the different way while going to the reastaurant, many swimming pools (one heated) - all very very comfortable for good stay - I would come back any moment. Recomended for all without walking difficulties (some places need walking up by stairs). Specially good for location just next to promenade and long sandy beach. Also in centrum with shops and many eating possibilities.
The best thing about my stay was...beach, walking promenade and centrum being next to the Resort, food,

Pity the resort wasn't fully open.
We have 2 children aged 4 and 7. They loved the pools however the poolside bars are not open at all, which as an all inclusive guest was very annoying. Bar was closed at the children's pool. Apartments very impressive with good cleaning service. Resort very very german orientated however the entertainers did their best to include my two children. Food was a let down even by all inclusive standards. Resort is very spread out with food at one end and entertainment at the other end. Mini train did not operate every day. Resort great location for beach, and beach made up for negatives in hotel. I wouldn't go back to the hotel. It seemed as if the resort was being run as cheaply as possible.
The best thing about my stay was...Beach

Very good resort

Stayed at Stella Jandia one week end of September, quieter time in Fuerteventura.Today new owner and renamed back to "Stella Canaris". Location in the hill above outskirts Morro Jable.Rooms spacious, cleaned every day, amazing sea view.Quiet place.Meal very good - in winter use dining room of stela paradise. With respect to hilly position it is not suitable for people with low physical condition - many stairs and lift usually broken.Staff friendly, just one person speaking english, otherwise rather german resort, several Polish, several French. Generally very good resort ***+ and will return back.
The best thing about my stay was...Amazing view, very good meal

A very enjoyable stay had by all!!!
frances maud, nottingham
I was a little Apprehensive due to the negative feedback that a number of people had left on this site. When I arrived and during my stay I was pleasantly suprised. The apartment was very good value for money, the dinner was what you expect in a three star hotel. The staff at the desk were very polite however the dining room staff were always stressed and put you on edge a little..there were three pools to chose from....the hotel is ideal if you need decent accomadation for a beach holiday we spent most of our time on the beach and the surrrounding bars. Hiring a car through alpha rooms is recommended they pick you up from the airport (30 minutes late however) and drop you back off. The car hire was more cost effective than a transfer and you can enjoy the island for the rest of the week.
The best thing about my stay was...the beach

We gest come back from our week holiday in Stella Jandia. Very nice resort, green, near to the beach. We had a room in block C, very big with 2 king beds, only problem vas with towels. We complained on 4 day of our stay and than we got fresh towels. Mini Zoo is really nice specialy for kids. Intertaining is fantastic. Well done guys. Food is good, we expected more fruits and seafood, but overal vas ok.
The best thing about my stay was...near to the beach

all inclusive? debatable......
john, manchester, england
Thankfully only booked to stay for 3 nights. Probably the poorest all inclusive experience I've had. We arrived at ten at night after travelling all day they had no food for us, bottled water is charged at one euro per bottle, a towel will cost you two euros per day with a 15 euro deposit, you have to pay to get a remote for the tv in the room, the safe is chargeable, the fridge in the room was empty and nothing put in it. If you are old or in anyway unhealthy do not stay here as you will need to climb many steps numerous times each day. The place is also full of arrogant Germans! My advice, spend a little more and go somewhere nicer..
The best thing about my stay was...the beer was san miguel

Probably the best destination for our family
Sergiy, Athy, Ireland
Stayed there at the end of March. As we have two boys (8 and 5) we needed to think about their entertainment. And we found this in Stella Apartments. Children playground, swimming pools, pool bar were just 20 metres away of our apartment, but it was quiet. Children liked kids club and this was in 2 minutes walking. The territory of Stella Canaris was big, we even didn't explore everything. Very nice - like a big garden with peacocks and other birds. There was mini train floating on the territory, if you don't want to walk ;-). Food was very good for us (we were on All Inclusive package). Evening entertainment (mini disco followed by night show) was great - the hotel has very strong and professional animation team. There was a zoo adjacent to the hotel, and it was free for Stella Canaris guests. It became another nice place for us to spend time in. The beach was great - very nice white sand, very long, probably a couple of kilometres. There was a busy main road between hotel and quay, but there was underground crossing just at the entrance gates of the hotel. Going by a kind of wooden foot-bridge from the quay to the beach, you can find a lot of animals - rabbits, small parrots, chipmunk(?) etc., and you can feed them. The weather was great, we could swim in the sea and swimming pools. There was also a heated swimming pool at Stella Paradise hotel.
The best thing about my stay was...It was just great

Nice Hotel but no double rooms
Tanya, North Yorkshire
The complex is huge and called the Stella Canaries Resort, which was nowhere detailed on my booking information so a bit confusing when dropped off by the transfer. Apartment Hotel is high up so you have to take a lift and some stairs and hill so probably not good for the elderly. I was on my own and booked a double room with sea view as a treat. The options when booking were for twin rooms and double rooms. I expected a double bed or why would they have 2 different room types, but apparently there are no double beds in the rooms in the hotel, only the villas! Pool is nice and bar/shows ok. Food was good but as usual with AI can get a bit repetative!
The best thing about my stay was...Pool area.

Relaxing and every enjoyable holiday with small children
Nadine Crosskill, Italy
I came in February with my mother in law and two young chlidren. We stayed in one of the apartments and took advantage of the all inclusive offer. It was much better than what I expected I had such a good holiday. From the service to the food and cleanliness of the apartments, nothing could be faulted. One of the best things, especially for the children was the entertainment. My children (ages 2 and 3) waited all day for the kids entertainment in the evening as they were too young to take advantage of the kids club. Even though the complex is big we never felt lost, and spent lots of time just wandering around finding out a new place or a new pool, and we always felt safe in the complex. The playground was really good and the animals (namely cats and peacocks) were very tame but kept their distance as I thought appropriate. There was also a good mix of different nationalities. I would definately go again or recommend it to a friend with children.
The best thing about my stay was...The entertainment was good because it catered for all ages. It was also a bonus having the town and beach within walking distance.

Second visit standard still good
I would not recommend this accomodation to anyone elderly or who has difficulty with stairs as the reception and evening entertainment and restaurant is at sea level whilst the accomodation (no lift available) is up at least 5 storeys However the accomodation has good beach and sea view. All Inclusive is good value and the food is of good quality. We will go again next year.
The best thing about my stay was...Beach walks along Jandia

Great Family resort- Forget all those bad reviews
I have just returned form a weeks stay at the Stella Jandia Apartments. The complex now goes under the name Stella Canaries resort. After reading alot of very worrying reviews i decided to leave the camcoder at home as i wasn't expecting much. The complex is fantastic! set around miles of tropical green suroundings. The complex consists of different types of accomodation - Hotel Stella paradise, Apartments and Villas. There are around 6 pools, snackbars , poolside bars and a few different venues which open up for the evening shows -which are also good family enertainments( including mini disco an hour each eveening) The restaurant depends on which accomodation you have booked , the time of the year and how busy the complex is. We were put in the Hotels restaurant for the first two nights, then another restauant from then on. The food was good , a good selection , but maybe a bit repetative. It did me and my son fine, but my daughter is a very fussy eater and a vegetarian so she was limited, but we ate out for a meal or two and a few snacks, which is what holidays are all about. This holiday was alot cheaper than our usual summer family holiday and i definatley thing its fantastic value for money. The apartment was very spacious 2 bedwooms and a living room with aircon too! Spotlessly clean. Just to let you know thre is no need to rush out before breakfast to put towels on the sunbeds like i did the first day- Theres plenty for everyone. We got a sunbed every day no problem. There is a free little train on site which takes you around the complex if you wish. There are lots of cats around which all seem well fed and healthy and also peacocks roaming around. The staff can't do enough to help you with any problems. My children loved this place i came back so upset that we hadn't booked a fortnight, But we will definatley be going back Christmas 2011! Also if you go on any trips i can highly recommend the Oasis Safari park with a tour guide , meal and a Camel ride it was Fantastic! Don't lissen to any bad reviews , some people are far too fussy!
The best thing about my stay was...The whole complex is brilliant!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the room was very clean and spacious and generally the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good but maybe a little repetative, and the the all inclusive drinks package was very good. I would definatly recommend this hotel.
The best thing about my stay was...The quiet location and the weather

last min holiday
Andrew Gee, Leek, staffordshire
just got back from a last minute break and enjoyed every minute of it. the apartment we stayed in was clean and tidy, but basic. Even though it had a big walk in shower and a hair dryer. The towels were changed 3 times that week and the bed once. The food was excellent, in both restaurants. The rest of the complex which is large and walking is involved but the gardens are beautiful and it was a good way to walk off the food which was plentiful and varied and we enjoyed it especially the desserts our room was fine included a fridge but no air-con we where ok but could be a problem in high summer the beach is quite a long walk but we used the little train which is constantly going round the complex or the funicular which took you down to road level the swimming pool at the stella was right outside our room and quite and beatifully clean. A great place for a break and yes I would recommend it.

Got back from the stella duna 18th June 2008 last minute booking very pleased with hotel it was definately 4* but the stella which is in the complex a good 3* but you share the restaurant with the hotel and the rest of the complex which is large and walking is involved but the gardens are beautiful and it was a good way to walk off the food which was plentiful and varied and we enjoyed it especially the desserts our room was fine included a fridge but no air-con we where ok but could be a problem in high summer the beach is quite a long walk but we used the little train which is constantly going round the complex or the funicular which took you down to road level the swimming pool at the stella was right outside our room and quite and beatifully clean and the beach was great if you can put up with naked men (over 50's) its never the young guys. All in all a great place for a break and yes I would recommend it the children where especially well catered for.

This complex is connected to the Dunas Paradise four star complex, which initally we thought we had done well with given we had access to four star facilities. However I wouldnt say the food was four star rated and the complex had much to be desired. The website states the beach is 0KMs to the beach, which it would be when stood outside the gates. however from the dunas stella rooms it takes upto 15 minutes to walk to the beach both up and down hill - walk back is not good if you have walking difficulties. The complex has a big potential to be a lovely resort however alot of the buildings are closed down with empty rotting pool. The complex had cats all over the place often sitting next to you when you ate in the outdoor area of the resturaunt. The food is edible however more than once the food was uncooked. It seems to attract a lot of germans and therefore I think they cater for them mainly in relation to food. I would not go back there again and would suggest paying the extra to stay at RIU. On a good note the staff were friendly at the place was clean!!

There are several locations in this hotel. We stayed in "Villas Tropical" apartments. The place was clean and without noise. The restaurant quite good.
