Nice hotel, good location!
Marzia & Nico, Italia
I usually don't like spending my beach holiday in big buiding (I do prefer a classic resort or diffused hotel) and choosed the Sol Milanos Pinguinos for its location. In fact, compared with many other island's locations, the Sol Milanos Pinguinos, other than located in front of a beautiful beach, is located in a quiet and isolated area. The residential area, just close by, is also very quite and well kept, offering some (few) restaurants or small shops. The Hotel gave us the possibility to spend a lovely vacantion in Menorca providing good quality standards. Food is also ok! I would definetely recommend it to anyone planning to stay in this beautiful balearic island!

Great hotel, food was excellent every day loads of choice, very clean hotel and rooms, entertainment was great for my daughter... Only down was bedrooms are basic Deco but cleaned every day.... Could easily be a 4* if they modernized the rooms
The best thing about my stay was...Great location, beautiful beach on your doorstep, warm and clear seawater.

We booked just 4 days before as we we're let down at the last minute by another provider. The hotel was immaculately clean and the staff very attentive and helpful. Rooms on the small side but did the job just fine. The resort was quiet, especially for teenagers, but very relaxing.
The best thing about my stay was...The location was amazing with a beautiful beach a short stroll away.

Great place to stay, happy helpful staff
Susie Q , Surrey
I have to say what a lovely hotel this is to stay in. My boys aged 7 and 11 thoroughly enjoyed the pool, ping pong and crazy golf. The staff work so hard and are always smiley and polite. The shows were great fun to watch and covered all ages, ie, Mamma Mia, a boy band and some motown. It's in a great location right next to the beach and has a supermarket right outside the hotel so you can buy inflatables and a few provisions in there, even nice fresh milk!!! If you request a sea view you will probably get a room high up, we did on the 8th floor and I do suffer a little with vertigo but it was fine, a great view. The beds were made everyday and the hotel is clean and tidy. The bar staff were great, very quick to serve and drink measures were right up my street!!! My only quibble would be, and it is a very small one is it would have been nice to have drink service around the pool! As being there on my own with my boys I had to constantly get up to buy drinks at the snack bar, but that's just me being lazy. They cater so well for the children and the Flintstones theme is loved by all the young ones, cuddling the characters etc. All in all a great place to stage, I would definitely go back, even though my boys are a little bit too old for the children clubs they loved the ping pong and the little bit of independence they had around the hotel. It felt safe and I wouldn't hesitate booking again. Enjoy if you do!!
The best thing about my stay was...The pool, staff and sunshine!!

Stayed first 10 days May. Wonderful location and so quiet as start of the season. 2 Hugh hotels over looking fantastic Son Bou Beach. Hotel only had about 100 people staying which was great for quiet break. Don't think would like to stay when in full flow in high season. Rooms not big but comfortable and balcony with sea view. Food very good standard, and as so few staying had really good service. Good selection of drinks on all inclusive which was well worth it. Would stay again off season. Weather was brilliant as well which was a bonus.
The best thing about my stay was...Wonderful location

Excellent Family Holiday
Sarah Holmes , United Kingdom
The hotel is located in a beautiful quiet resort of Son Bou right on the beach, it is ideally placed for local shops, supermarkets, restaurants and car hire. The hotel itself is really clean, the restaurant is bright and has a beautiful outlook over the sea the food is tasty and good quality. The rooms themselves are a little small but have everything you need. The staff in the hotel are very pleasant and the entertainment team are great. The We will definitely return to this hotel it was a truly great holiday for all of us.
The best thing about my stay was...My daughter would say Fred Flintstone!

poor second week
the first week was fine great location, food always tepid. the second week because they were closing the hotel on the day we were leaving it seemed as if they were closing more doors every day,the entertainment was stopped ,the choice of food was halved and even more tepid ,less staff. I paid the same amount for that second week but only received half the value,be warned the second week in October not worth it.son bou is beautiful ,good bars and restuarants.
The best thing about my stay was...location and beach

Definatly not as expected WHEELCHAIR USERS PLEASE READ
Jo carter, Cambridgeshire
Hotel has a magnificent view of Son Bou beach, was very clean with the house keepers being very friendly and working very hard. The rooms are very small in fact our daughter was in a single room which had aw tiny bath not even big enough for a 6 year old, her room was tucked away down a passage way and she could not get the very expensive Wifi, even though reception said she definatly could, after hours of trying we were finally told by some one else that you could not get Wifi in single rooms. My husband and I had a double room which was very clean but very small, impossible to have a wheelchair up in the room except from on the balcony. The hotel is supposed to be wheelchair friendly, but it has obviously been planned by someone who has no experience of wheelchairs or wheelchair users as the ramps are far too steep, we always hire a mobility scooter for me when we are in Menorca as it is very hilly so it gives me some much needed independence , we were told to leave it to charge in the luggage room , but when someone kept unplugging it so it would not charge, we moved it into the reception area and charged it in a corner out of the way, we were told the following day by Staff that the manager did not want it there're explained that it was being unplugged from charging in the luggage room, however she said that the maintenance men and it other staff would keep an eye on it so we agreed to put it back in the luggage room. The next day we went to get the scooter and again it had been unplugged, so they agreed we could put it back on charge in the reception area. PLEASE note. The staff did not like the mobility scooter in the hotel at all, I was left feeling unhappy several times by staff talking about it being plugged in, Our daughter and us were moved into a family room so my daughter could bath so our thanks to Noellla for her help there. Finally the food was very unacceptable, first of all the waiters and waitresses walked around as if they were facing a death sentence , the food was always only tepid, and with respect mostly indescribable, we paid half board and ended up eating out a majority of the time. You were charged for almost every thing at the hotel, wifi €30 a week, drinks in the resturaunt parking and hiring a leaky kettle. All in all a very below average stay
The best thing about my stay was...The views
