THE DREADED WRIST BANDS
L Pimenta, Emsworth Hampshire England
We stayed at this hotel for 10 days starting October 2015 and have done so several times before and will probably do so again next year so for an older couple like us we were well satisfied with our room, the food in the dining room and the general atmosphere of this beautifully laid out hotel and its courteous and helpful staff .Needless to say we will book again nest year if the price is right. One small thing that did annoy us was the wrist band that had to remain on our wrist day and night for ten days. We felt that apart from being unhygenic and irritating at times we wondered if the hotel could get around the problem of uninvited guests using the hotel's facility- another hotel in Fuerteventura that we have also used have abandoned the wrist band practice so SBH Costa Calma Beach may wish to consider alternative methods of security. Another small thing that did annoy us was that the bath inthe bath room was removed and replaced with a very small shower tray which meant that we could not take a shower without wetting the bathroom floor. We did not have this problem before so I guess this may have been unique to the room we had, Overall ed had a very good holiday.
The best thing about my stay was...The general cleanliness and variety of food offers in the dining room

Was OK,but in **** u need to pay for internet(just close to the reception, they dont have wi-fi in rooms;() they should sort up problems with drinks on the beach, sometimes u need to wait very long. But for that price was ok....

stunning september holiday!!!!!! :)

My partner and I arrived at the hotel to be greeted by very pleasent staff. We stayed self catering, so had an apartment which was lovely and had a beautiful view. The hotel is very clean and is very well layed out, always a member of staff there to help you if needed. The pool area was beautiful, with plam trees so there is shade, the pool itself was lovely and refreshing after a few hours of sunbathing. Pool has its own bar which was very nice and always busy. There is a couple of shops near the hotel, but we found the smaller of the shop[s very expensive for food and not always stocked. If you take a short walk down the beach you can find a small shopping area with a spar in, whixh was brilliant. Whislt in fuerterventura we visited THE OASIS PARK! was AMAZING!! would thoroughlly recommend to any one. All in all we had a fab 2 weeks and would defo think about coming back.. thank you sbh :)
The best thing about my stay was...The whole 2 weeks :)

The best value all inclusive I had stayed in.
David Kennedy, Dublin
If you want a lot of night life do not go to this hotel more to the point do not go to Costa Calma. Now with that out of the way this hotel is great for a relaxing sun holiday by the beach. For an all inclusive FOR THIS PRICE RANGE it is above what I have experienced in other AI's in the Med and Canaries. The guest are mostly German speaking but there are some others and an increasing amount of eastern Europeans that have discovered here. I have traveled a lot stayed in all types of accommodation from villas in the Caribbean to hostels in Greece but when I want a week of Sun,food and some drink this is the hotel I find myself booking since 2005 I do of course go to other countries and resorts on occasion but an 18 month gap has been the longest before returning here. Night entertainment can be hit and miss and all is quiet by 23:30 but if this is not a big deal then go for it.
The best thing about my stay was...Right on the beach and beach bar.

We were very satisfied.
Adam Bonzowaty, Wroclaw
We were very satisfied. The staff is very friendly. Short path to the beach. Food very good and varied. Hotel is well maintained and clean. Pleasant is also a heated pool. The hotel can be recommended by us with a clear conscience. Nice place as you can see on picture for example here http://www.costa-calma-beach-resort.net/ We'll be back next year.
The best thing about my stay was...beach :)

Nice place by the sea
David Neill, Stirling
Stayed in the Nautilus Beach part, fair sized comfortable room, side sea view was...so so (front rooms would have great view), nicer building than the main part (where some rooms would have zero view). Food and drinks all right, all domestic brands, not a great veggie choice but got by. Pools and grounds good, staff always efficient, entertainment a bit poor (and there's nowhere else much to go in Costa Calma), beach and almost beach right outside are good (though it is the rocky end) and plenty of loungers (in winter anyway). Overall I'd say three plus rather than four, but very keenly priced.
The best thing about my stay was...Being right on the beach

1 week october break with baby
Stayed for one week in a sea view room all inclusive and it was perfect! everything from checkin to checkout all staff happy to help. The baby had a nice clean cot and room to play. The food and drink was available at the different bars throughout. The quality of the food was excellent. The room was excellent and pools even better...Value amazing!! Quiet holiday with sunshine and warm days. 4/5 only because there is always room for improvement - take a look at the Rio Calma up the road...but 4 times the price

We arrived on 27th December and spent 7 days there including New Years Eve. Compared to some other hotels in Fuerteventura the food was inferior, not as much choice, however, there was always something you would eat. They pulled out all the stops for New Years Eve. My first time to stay in an allinclusive. A bit of a waste for me as I dont drink alcahol and my partner does not drink a lot, however, it was nice to be able to help yourself to coffee and cakes in the afternoon. By the way the cakes and desserts were super. For a good value holiday, expecially if you like a few beers, it is great value
