A BRILLIANT WEEK
JANET GALE, Bovey Tracey.
THE VISTAMER IS MY KIND OF HOTEL... NOT HUGE, NOT TOO POSH, BUT VERY COMFORTABLE WITH EVERYTHING I NEED TO MAKE MY HOLIDAY HAPPY. MY ROOM WAS FINE AND VERY CLEAN. THE LOUNGE AND RESTAURANT DOWNSTAIRS WERE SPACIOUS. AND THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE LOCATION IS GOOD WITH ONLY A SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH OR TO THE SHOPS AND PUBS ETC. THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT WITH A WIDE CHOICE FROM THE WELL LAID-OUT BUFFET. BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER, ALL GREAT.
The best thing about my stay was ...
THE FRIENDLY STAFF AND THE GREAT FOOD.

The beach is only about 150m away. The rooms are clean, spacious, with Television (no italian channels) and AC. The food is for German people but i'd like it. All inclusive treatment is the best decision.

We found the Vistamer extremely clean and in very good condition. All staff were polite and spoke good english. The food was excellent, plenty of choice. We had a one year old and found the highchairs supplied were useless, may be an idea to take own booster seat.
The hotel had an awful lot of german tourists staying at it, this didn't pose a problem as such but we did feel slightly outnumbered. There was zero entertainment at this hotel. This was the only draw back.
Nice town, clean beach. Would go again.

The hotel was on the whole fine...clean,friendly,not 70s style as stated above.
As mentioned above, noisy bar across road but if windows are shut you hear absolutely nothing and with the air conditioning we slept perfectly. We loved spending evenings at the pool using the all inclusive drinks.OK,11pm was a bit early to close the bar.
I found the food ok but my husband found it dreadful!Iam a fish eater and he is a meat eater(meat was always tasteless with no differences between the sorts)
Entertainment was poor/non existing so it was good that the hotel was so near the lovely lively shopping streets, with music and shops open late.

The hotel is centrally placed for immediate access to shops and the beach which is about a 250/300m walk. A noisy cocktail bar exists opposite and if you're unlucky enough to have a room on the front of the hotel you will have to endure sleepless nights as this is open till late. About 150m from the front of the hotel is an amusement park that features go karting amongst other activities. Karts are roaring away until the early hours as well and this adds to the noise levels late on.
We went all inclusive and although the food was plentiful it was generally not to our taste. The hotel caters largely for German tourists and this was evident in the menu setting. We ended up eating out at least once or twice daily. Drinks are not part of the all inclusive cost after 11.00 pm at night and the bar does not open until after the breakfast sitting is closed, which means that you have to go into breakfast to get a tea/coffee.
The facilities were on the whole acceptable and the foyer is well decorated and air conditioned. Rooms are however 70's decor and in need of some repair/upgrade. The pool is also very small and does not encourage you to want to stay around its vicinity.
The was on the whole little evening entertainment (once only in my week) and we did not want to stay around which added to costs.

the hotel was not bad in reception but the rooms weren't too good. there was one problem when we arrived - we were the only english and they had no entertainment, the food was not that good and, if the hotel know there would be english there, they should get bar staff who understand english - overall i would not stay there again.
