Resort Info

Agadir

Agadir is a modern city in Morocco, south of Marrakech and is a popular midway point for cruises heading to the Canary Islands. The unique location, sandwiched between the Atlas Mountains, the Sahara and the Atlantic, gives this city a very special feel. Although tourism is important, the city is also a bustling sea port.

It was completely rebuilt after a devastating earthquake in 1960 and now draws thousands of tourists every year with its sandy beaches and many attractions. The thriving city offers much to see and do including the municipal market, small zoo and historical sites such as the remains of a small fortress. The city is small enough to explore on foot but there is also a good local bus service.

The city is also a great base for exploring the surrounding area including desert safaris and camel treks. Marrakech is three hours away on a coach but certainly worth a visit. North of Agadir are some wonderful, tranquil beaches. Surfing is a popular activity due to the rolling Atlantic waves. There are also some spectacular golf courses worthy of a visit.

Agadir offers the best of a city break combined with a relaxing beach holiday. Great for couples and families.

Magic stay

Hotel style riad, very spacious room(chamber), with meals under forms of buffet. Swimming pool and any opportunities, next to the city center and to the ledge of Agadir.

The best thing about my stay was...

Service friendly and the beautifull room

enough nice hotel in a very good area

The new name of this hotel is Mogador Al Madina. It was a nice and very big hotel in a very good area. I had stay there for 6 days. The first day the room has problems (AC & refrigerator was not working), I told it to the staff and they promised to me that the next day they will change me room (becouse they had not other empty room at my first day) and really the next day they give me another room that was more nice & big and "ok" in everything. All the staff was very polite. The breakfast and the dinner (I had close a halfboard pocket) was very-very nice (nice quality, really rich and very big choice) and for a small tip in waiters (about 10mad is ok) it's sure that they will made everything they can for to satisfy you in breakfast/dinner. The pool area was very nice (the most nice place in hotel) but there must have much-much more "sun- umprellas", and I did not like that from 09.00 every morning all the good seats (= seats with umprellas) in the pool area, was looking like "occupied" with a book or a towel on every seat, that as I notice in fuct it was just a "trick" from the pull-staff for to serve/satisfy his own customers (if and when they deside to come in pool area at 13.00 or at 18.00)!!! I must notice also that althought my room was enough clear, it needs more often deworming (I saw 2-3 nights, espesially in very hot days, 1-2 big cockroaches in WC). Anyway, for the price that I had pay (42euros/day, double room for single use, halfboard, Aug. 2013) I am very pleased for my stay in this hotel, and i recomed this hotel to anyone.

The best thing about my stay was...

breakfast & dinner

holiday

We stayed in this hotel for 11 days in end of march 2011. This hotel is very quiet but surraunded by loats of bars and local shops ,close to the Beach (5 min walk) The hotel itself has been redecorated and it's rather clean.Nice stylish furniture in rooms.Food was nice but not too big choice. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were generally happy with this hotel. I would reccommend it to friends as a good place for holiday.

The best thing about my stay was...

Tasty food,location,rooms.
