Nesli The Jewellery Lady Is Just Simply The Best !!!

This was my third visit to Marmaris this year and my second stay at the Royal Garden Hotel, I was extremely pleased with the hotel in general, spotlessly clean, food was excellent, and the staff were wonderful in particular Ayla who is a great ambassador of the hotel, she carries out her duties extremely professionally and always with a smile. My room was very spacious and clean towels changed daily and clean sheets every day, it would be impossible to complain about anything at this hotel. One thing about the jewellery shop in the hotel, do not be mislead and buy from the town, I have bought several items in the hotel jewellery shop from a gold bracelet to a very nice diamond ring and on each occasion I have had a proper valuation carried out on my return home. Do not just take your jewellery into a shop and ask how much my gold ring from Turkey is worth they are obviously going to call the ring rubbish because they want you to buy from their shop not Turkey, all the valuations have come back with at least double the value and the diamond ring which cost me £1800.00 was valued at £4000.00. I personally would not go anywhere else to buy gold jewellery, if you go to the town to buy you constantly get hassled if you look in a shop window, also the sales men are on 30% commission which can only increase the price. Nesli who owns the jewellers shop in the hotel and Sem could not be nicer, if they do not have what you are looking for, she will take you to her Mothers shop with no hassle and allow you to select an item in peace. And if you have a problem you can call her or email her to allow her an opportunity to resolve the situation so please do not blame Nesli if you have not received a proper valuation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Visit the hotel and go and see Nesli yourself and make up your own mind, I think she is 110% honest and genuine, you will meet a lot of nice people in Turkey but none nicer than Nestli Destan I can promise you !
The best thing about my stay was...Impossible to pick out one single thing, the whole experience was such good value !

Fantastic - had a great time

This was a family vacation, and although my teenagers were bored the first day or so, that soon changed as they got involved with the entertainment, and then didnt want to leave the resort as they were happy to stay for the programs. The food was good although a little more variety would have been appealing. Rooms and hotel was very clean, and the staff very friendly. We loved this place and were felt very welcome.

STAYED FOR A WEEK SORRY IT WASN'T LONGER. THE ROOMS ARE SMALL BUT COMFORTABLE AND IN GENERAL THE HOTEL IS VERY CLEAN AND SEEMS TO HAVE PEOPLE CLEANING ON A CONTINUAL BASIS.THE FOOD IS LOVELY AND VARIED. THERE IS ALSO A SNACK BAR 12- 5PM WHICH SERVES CHIPS BURGERS ETC GREAT FOR YOUNGSTERS AND A CHANGE IF YOU DECIDE TO SKIP THE LUNCH 12:30 - 2:30 PM. THE POOL IS A GOOD SIZE WITH A SLIDE OPEN THREE TIMES A DAY FOR 30 MINS GREAT FOR THE KIDS AND ADULTS TOO.THE ENTERTAINMENT IS PROVIDED BY EBO & COOKIE, EBO IS EXTREMELY FUNNY COOKIE NOT SO MUCH BUT THE TWO KEEP YOU OCCUPIED DURING SUNBATHING DAYS AND DO ENCOURAGE EVERYBODY TO JOIN IN. THE CHILDRENS ENTERTAINMENT IS PROVIDED BY YELIZ SHE IS A LOVELY GIRL QUITE SHY AT TIMES BUT REALLY DOES KEEP THE KIDS HAPPY AND MINGLES WITH ALL THE GUESTS OVERALL A GREAT PLACE TO STAY.

returned today 24th May another excellent stay at the Royal Garden. The hotel cannot be faulted for cleanliness or quality of meals plus snack bar. Some bar staff and drinks does let it down at times (ie changing rules to suit themselves) . hotel very friendly with lots of returning guests booked again for september.

Just returned from this hotel on 26th April 2010. Generally speaking this is a very good hotel, especially for the price we paid. I believe the price becomes more expensive as the season progresses however. The quality of the food is good, especially the salad buffet, however I didn't know that chicken could be served in so many ways. If you like chicken you will be well catered for. The cleanleness of the hotel is excellent and is one of its best selling points, this is of course a very good sign. My only grumble would be the " quality and choice" available at the bar. You could literally drink the vodka and brandy all day and still drive home and this is the only thing that would stop me booking this hotel again. If they changed their drinks supplier to a better brand and if necessary adjusted their prices, if needed, to retain their profit margin I would most certainly consider this hotel again.

Stayed at this hotel during a 10-day holiday in October this year. Service was excellent with friendly staff only too willing to help. Hotel was kept very clean and tidy.

Nice at all aspects

Location comfortable for bus connection t ocenter in 3 minutes, taxis outside, room clean, food good or sometimes very good in adequate variety and quantity. Only spoil is that some members of the staff were a bit rude (or rural maybe) and probably inexperienced with tourism business (I live in a tourist place and I teach in the tourist school so I know how staff behaviour should be in the 21st century).
