We have just got back from an all inclusive stay at this hotel, the bedrooms were clean, the enertainment of Verdi and Chris were excellent but , besides this this hotel has nothing to offer, it cost us 2000 for a two week stay with one child of 10, the restuarant was very disapointing, there was nothing for children to eat, when we complained they put chicken nuggets on for one night then went back to the normal food, which was swimming with grease, the pool area is very small for the children area, and the rest of the pool is 8 ft deep, we had to spend a further £1700 on this holiday eating out, we found some lovely places in Rhoda to eat, but this is digusting when you have paid for an all inclusive holiday. I would not wish this holiday on anyone, it got to the stage where ppl were taking orders and doing a pizza run and a breakfast run. Please dont waste your money on this hotel you would be better off going self catering, and using the free pools all along rhoda beach, The pool area is also overcrowded and if you did not get up at the crack of dawn you would not get a sunbed, and had to pay another £1.50 to take a sunbed to the beach, although this has not put me of Rhoda as nice place and lovely ppl, I would not wish this hotel on my worst enemy

The best thing about my stay was...

Chris and Verdi, for the entertainement

Excellent value for money hotel

We have just returned from an 11 night, all inclusive stay at the Roda Garden Village. The hotel is set almost on the beach in lovely gardens. The room slept 4 with two beds in the living area. It had a large terrace which backed onto the gardens. It had a kitchenette with fridge and hob and valuable air conditioning. Apparently our room was a newly refurbished one so request one of these with blue shutters as they are much nicer than the older type rooms. The hotel itself was a little smaller than I imagined, especially the pool, but this suited us as we could keep a close eye on the children whilst they were in the pool. The restaurant was clean. The food was very good during our first week, but by the second week we had begun to get a bit fed up at the lack of choice and ate out in Roda a couple of times. The choices were always pasta, oven baked roast potatoes and salad, which was very good, along with home-made tsaziki (excellent). There were then various meat and fish dishes to go with this. Chips were served at tea time only and breakfast was not bad either, with the usual greek bacon, fried or scrambled eggs and sometimes omlettes, with loads of cereals and bread. You could help yourself always to soft drinks and the bar area which is next to the pool served alcholic drinks. Entertainment was very good provided by English Chris and his Swiss Partner Verdiana. They did various game and quiz shows including bingo; Mr & Mrs; Celebrity quizzes egg dropping competetions. There was a childrens hour every night where kids went up onto the open air stage (where all the entertainment was held) and did dancing and games which they loved and parents were encouraged to go up too!! The pool area was very clean and we always managed to get a sunbed, although everyone (us inlcuded) put our towlels on at 8.30 am each morning. The beach was a little disappointing as it is a pebbly beach and most of the pebbles are very large, so walking on it proved very difficult. The sea was not as clear and blue as expected and once over the initial pebbly area at the beginning, it was a child friendly shelving area that was shallow for quite a bit. The only problem with our holiday was the mosquitoes, which are not a hotel problem but a problem all over Roda. Repellent is a must and must be sprayed on as soon as the sun starts to set. We forgot to spray repellent on the first night and were bitten to death! However, after that we only had to odd couple of bites for the rest of the holiday. Overall a brilliant value for money holiday in a friendly and very clean hotel.
