Another wonderful stay at Pueblo Acantilado Suites

Our second holiday at PA Suites. Even better than the first time. The same friendly, accommodating staff, the same excellent rooms. The weather was fantastic and we thotoughly enjoyed out relaxing stay. We upgraded from our large and comfortable studio apt to a two bed with a sea view. It was worth it! The panoramic vista of the ocean is breath taking! Although, I have to say that the first studio apt with a pool view was lovely too. We don't go for nightlife, or rowdy pubs so PA Suites is perfect for us. It is a safe, relaxed and low key environment. We have hired a car on both occasions - would recommend Drivalia - and this is a good idea for shopping, and if you want a big sandy beach, both El Campello and Villa Joyosa are only a few minute away. Highly recommend this complex.

The best thing about my stay was...

excellent service.

Great place great staff

We had a lovely 7 day break in June. Fantastic room overlooking the pool. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Excellent value for money. Would go again at the drop of a hat. Car was however essential.

The best thing about my stay was...

Room and staff

Beautiful

We have stayed here a few times and each time all I wish to do is take pictures as its so stunning. The rooms are so clean and kept this way throughout your stay, lovely views of Benidorm and the sea. We always hire a car to get to the local town el campello, but now we notice there is car hire at the resort which is fab. Our flight was late arriving there and the staff were quick at getting us checked in and off to bed, we also had a late flight home so needed to check out later and again they were more than helpful, all in all a wonderful stay and we can't wait to stay again.

The best thing about my stay was...

Peace and quiet

Lovely stay - would return

Stayed here in late September 2013. Had a lovely stay with my husband. First room we stayed in had a leak coming from the bathroom ceiling, however this was sorted out and they changed our room to a nicer room with a pool and sea view. The room was spotless and the décor beautiful. The reception staff were all friendly and helpful. We tried El Pontet Restaurant on our second night. There was one man serving/dealing with drink orders and he quite frankly could not keep up. There also appeared to be only 4 menus which were being shared out between everyone. It took 35 minutes just to get a menu so we knew we were in for a long night. To have one man serving that many people seemed ridiculous and I still have no idea why they only had 4 menus! As a result the service was extremely poor in this restaurant which was ashame because when we eventually got our dinner the food was good. We, however, decided it was best not to return to this restaurant due to the service issues. We also tried La Chiesa Restaurant which was very nice and much better service here. The Coffee shop was good and we were always served with a smile. The pool bar was only open until 8pm and it would have been nicer if this was open later and staffed more frequently as there was often no staff there when we wanted a drink. The pool area was spotless and the pool was lovely. It was a quiet time of year so we had no noise issues and overall really enjoyed our stay. We would happily come back in the future if the price was right. You really do need a hire car as it is in the middle of nowhere, but we had read the reviews and were aware of this and had hired a car. Overall we had a lovely holiday. There was no entertainment because it was out of season but this wasn’t a problem for us as we really just wanted a quiet holiday and this ticked the boxes for us.

The best thing about my stay was...

The apartments are beautiful and modern

Friendly, pretty, would stay again

We have now had 2 holidays here and enjoyed both times, we enjoy the surroundings and its close to a small local beach and the town. Staff are always friendly and very helpful and the rooms clean, we were dissapointed this time by the amount of noise, there was a wedding (we think) one night and the loud music didn't stop until 2.30 am. Maybe a few messages around the hotel about noise and remembering that there are other guests asleep as there were many nights of waking up due to shouting and slamming doors. The pool is always clean and looked after but the pool rules about reserving sun beds are not always followed with people leaving towels on the beds and not returning for hours so you cannot get the good beds all through the day. Apart from these things we would still return as we enjoy the area.

The best thing about my stay was...

Lovely rooms and views, staff, area, surroundings

Cannot praise highly enough!

Beautiful faux Spanish town-like complex. Immaculate grounds, lovely pool, choice of three restaurants and small shop for essentials. We stayed in one of the studios which are really high spec. Very spacious( we were a couple with a five year old boy) and the decor is chic/modern, we thought similar to a modern 4 star hotel. The cleaning staff offered to clean/change towels/linie every three/four days and there were plenty of towels. the beds were extremely comfy and there were plenty of pillows! Car recommended for shopping and to drive to beach to El Campello, as the beaches around the complex a just stones, but El Campello only 15 mins drive.

The best thing about my stay was...

High quality apartments and lovely surroundings.

Review of 'PUEBLO ACANTILADO'

Was a lovely hotel but not enough to do at hotel 1 bar, 1 restaurant and 1 shop. If these were closed you were in trouble. Unable to walk to nearest town had to get an hourly bus which only ran till 8pm at night! Very hilly in the hotel. Nice place but the hotel could do so much more for their guests.

Review of 'PUEBLO ACANTILADO'

Rooms were clean and beds changed twice in our 4 night stay.Rooms are dark and blinds were difficult. Hotel Village set on hill so the faint of heart and weak of limb beware.<br />When we first arrived the Village was quiet( I think their first week of the season) and only breakfast was available in the hotel dining room. The evening meal was provided at the village restaurant. Our first 3 evening meals were from a set menu of 2 Starters, 2 Main Courses followed by a choice from the fruit bowl(straight from the market, warts and all) or icecream. Two of the evenings we had no choice of Main Course as we got back late and only caught the last hour of service. Our last night, we had the pleasure of the hotel buffet evening meal, the first evening I had felt full after eating. There was no change in the variety of hot breakfast buffet each morning(only scrambled egg EVERY DAY) but they did provide a varied cold/continental selection each day. I have stayed in much more pleasant 3* hotels. Car park provided but steep incline and narrow spaces face you with a challenge parking. There were too few spaces once more guests arrived.
