Lovely quiet complex
Nigel Swindon, Swindon
Nice quiet clean apartments, friendly people a bit of a climb from the seafront not a problem for us.wouldnt go back with children as the pool is very small and deep, would recommend for adult relaxation

Relaxing and peaceful
These one bedroom apartments are spotlessly clean and well maintained. The staff are very pleasent, helpful, and do a great job of keeping rooms clean, gardens nice and poolside area immaculate. Lovely place to stay. Always loungers by the pool. Due to steps in complex it is not suitable for wheeelchair users. But would recommend to anyone.
The best thing about my stay was...Quiet yet centle location.

Honest, clean and quiet.
Very kind and genuine people run this place. The standard of clening would shame many 4-star hotels (our room was cleaner than a stateroom on Cunard Queen Victoria this year). It's very quiet day and night - this is not the place for noisey families - and feels safe. You get free use of the safe anyway, and they just could not be more helpful. It is nice that the apartments are well equipped. Maybe a few more TV channels would be nice ..and more water pressure for the showers - but other than that; it's the best place we have stayed in years. Many people return year-on-year, and stay for months. Its is perfect for couples. I would mention that it is only a 7 minute walk to the best part of the beach, and there is a decent Spar supermarket two blocks away - but you will need to google map it or ask at reception (where you can buy big water for 1 Euro).

Good location. Very quiet.
Apartments are very basic but very clean, everything you'd expect really. Location is good, roughly 5 mins walk to the front where the beech is. The apartments are very quiet and relaxing. If you want it to be lively and have music then these are probably not the apartments for you.
The best thing about my stay was...Polos small but nice. Very quiet.

Everything you need in a functional , spotless apartment
David & Kathleen., Yorkshire
Just got back from a very last minute holiday. The quiet of the apartments both day and night was appreciated. No loud music around the spotless pool area. Just perfect for a quiet week in the sun. It's just a short walk downhill to the 'strip' on the waterfront with many bars and restaurants. The old town a little further, but a nice walk away. It's only 10 minutes from the airport, but very little aircraft noise. plenty of free parking ,but car not essential. Would definitely recommend for a quiet stay in the sun.
The best thing about my stay was...The weather and cleanliness of the apartments.

Lovely and Peaceful
This is my fifth visit to Puerto Del Carmen and I think these apartments are my favourite. The apartments are a good size, not the biggest I have stayed in, but perfect for two people. They are also probably the cleanest and well maintained apartments I have stayed in as well. The apartments were cleaned at least 5 days out of 7 and the bed linen changed once in our 16 night stay. There is a safe in the room, which was free and a fan, which was also free, a saving on your holiday straight away. There was even washing up liquid in a dispenser above the kitchen sink, a sponge/scrubber and tea towel, a nice touch I thought. There is free wifi in the complex, another added bonus. In the room in there is ample storage for all of your clothes with plenty of coat hangers. If you ask for an upper level room, you will get a lovely view of the pool and the sea. The reception staff are very friendly/helpful and when my wife’s ring fell into a gap in the safe, they got this resolved immediately. So a slight warning, do not put any loose rings, earrings, etc into the safe, put them in a bag, as they may fall through the small gap. The reception staff also helped when my wife had an issue with her tooth and arranged an emergency appointment at a local English speaking dentist, thanks for all your help Trudy! At reception you can also buy 5 litre bottles of water for 1 Euro, cheaper than the supermarkets and it saves you carrying it up the hill. I cannot compliment the complex staff enough on how clean and well maintained the complex is, Pedro, the maintenance man, was constantly painting, cleaning, brushing up, cleaning the pool, etc., this complex is really well maintained. When we stayed in July 15 the complex was lovely and peaceful, I think it was at about 75% occupancy, but you rarely got more than 14 people around the pool at a time. The pool is very deep, but is a bit small for my liking, but as not many people went in at a time, I could be in there by myself floating on my lilo as if it was my own private pool, nice and relaxing. It is hard to fault these apartments, so I won’t, as to me they were excellent. I appreciate that they will not be to everyone’s taste, as this complex is so quiet and peaceful; this may be because there are only 26 apartments in total, no pool bar and is not really suitable for families. We spoke to lots of very nice people around the pool, but I appreciate some travellers do prefer music around the pool and a pool bar. However, it is only a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and about a 10 – 12 minute walk to the seafront, where all the restaurants and bars are, make sure you visit Palms, a lovely bar/restaurant on the sea front with a great terrace and views of the sea, only 1.50 Euros for a beer as well. I will definitely be returning to the Princesa Guayadeque apartments next year!!
