This is the third time we have stay there. It is within walking distance to the harbour and the shops and plenty of cafes for coffee or drinks to enjoy. Breakfast in the hotel you had plenty to choose from .Entertainment in the sky room was excellent. The pool across the road was great and lunch there was good as well staff very helpful as well.

Pleasant stay in clean hotel
Miss A, Scotland
The hotel is in a good location on the promenade. We were there on a bed and breakfast basis, and the breakfast was very good each day. The first room we were taken to was dreadful, it was very small, suitable really only for one person, not a twin, front sea-view as we had booked and paid for. Finally, we got moved to the room-type we had expected after 3 room changes and being unable to unpack properly until we were finally settled. The final room we were moved too was lovely however, thankfully! Exactly as we had expected with the balcony and sea-view. We used the beach club every day- facilities good however staff were not very friendly or welcoming. They charged us different prices for the same drinks order every day and not a smile or a 'hello' from them once in 2 weeks!! Overall, a decent clean hotel in a good location for getting around and would stay again providing we were certain what type of room we were getting!! Lovely walk along the promenade to St. Julians -and it was easy to access and swim in the beautiful sea from the beach club.
The best thing about my stay was...Nice room once we were thankfully relocated, good breakfast, good location.

Malta is very safe and the hotel was too. Lots of middle aged and older couples and small groups. Staff are fine. Food is fine. The best bit is the location right on the promenade. The beach club pool is good and the rock bathing beside it. There are steps directly into the sea from the rocks. Bear in mind the star rating system in Malta seems to be on the generous side. The is a 3 plus star hotel in my book but I would definitely go back.

This hotel does not live up to expectations. It is extremely dated and dirty. Building work going on between floors whilst guests are staying. Hammer drilling and dust everywhere. They have some renovated rooms but you need to be strong to get one. Worst hotel we have stayed in the last 20 years. Food standing a long time and quality very poor. Housekeeping also very poor. Pillows and bedding very low quality. Beware buying drinks there...not genuine!!

We stayed bed and breakfast and enjoyed our stay. Only down side the gym and spa were being worked on so they were closed the week we were there which we were looking forward to using.

Too expensive for what you get
After paying the price that i paid i was expecting better stay. Firstly we didn't get the room we booked and only after fighting for it and two days living from suitcases got the room changed. I wouldn't recommend the place if you any younger that 60, not much around in evenings. The only good thing was private beach but it was always full if you not there first thing in the morning. Staff was polite but far from friendly and helpful.

Vitalia, Dublin, Ireland
First we didn't get the room we booked, it was supposed to be sea view, but you could only see the sea is you sitting on the edge of the balcony! Eventually after spending 2 nights in the tiny room we got the room we paid for. It was nice room, cant complain, its pity we had to fight for it. I probably wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are younger than 50, not much around in the evening. Staff was polite, but wouldn't call it friendly. I wouldn't stay there again, not for the price anyway.
The best thing about my stay was...Private beach

Preluna good hotel and location perfect
Alan N, N.Ireland
We visited Malta for a family wedding in May and after a lot of research choose the Preluna mainly for the location for a 1 week stay. While not expecting too much we were more than delighted with both Malta and the hotel. The hotel beach club was just across the road with a large salt water pool free towels, loungers and umbrellas and easy access to the sea for swimming off the rocks. Also had food and drink available with good service. The breakfast was typical buffet and a reasonable standard with plenty of options. We ate out every night with plenty of choice close by; for top quality we would recommend both the Italian and the Japenese restaurants connected to the hotel with another excellent Italian next door. The sky bar on the top floor had a great view with excellent service and prices good; music was live most nights and while not to everyones taste was reasonable. Staff at the hotel were all very professional, pleasant and helpful. Rooms were cleaned daily to a good standard by well mannered and efficient staff. My partner and her daughter used both the hotel hairdresser and the spa and were well pleased with both and would recommend. The bus stop is outside for public transport and hop on/off bus tours; great service and reasonable prices. A good shopping area and the harbour for all the boat trips was a simple 7 minute walk away with lots of restaurants and bars available in the area. During our stay we visited Valetta, Marsaxlokk and the blue grotto and all are worth a visit with Valetta being a must see for a 1.50 euro return ticket. All things considered we would recommend both Malta and the Preluna Spa Hotel.

Fabulous hotel, my room seemed to be an upgrade and certainly exceeded my expectations. I was AI and it was great value. Food choices (as a vegetarian) were excellent. Bars were sometimes understaffed and would have liked more coffee/ tea / snacks during the day.
The best thing about my stay was...Comfortable hotel
