Fab holiday at Hotel El Paso, Port Aventura
Lynsey Robinson, Belfast
I stayed at Hotel El Paso from 27th July - 3rd August with my husband and 2 daughters (aged 8 and 2). We had read mixed reviews so weren't quite sure what to expect but we found every aspect of the hotel wonderful. We were given a room on the 5th floor in the main block overlooking the car park and weren't bothered with any noise whatsoever. The room was a perfect size for us and my daughters were delighted that there was a bunk bed for them - (tip - if there are bunk beds in your room store your luggage underneath). Our room was cleaned every day. We mainly ate at the buffet but had the choice of eating in the restaurant twice during our stay although pre booking is required. We also ate in the theme park and water park where we got a starter, main course, dessert and drink (You are provided with one voucher per person per day to use at one of 5 outlets in the theme park and 1 in the water park). The food in both the hotel and the theme park was of a high standard, with plenty of choice and was always warm. There was food available throughout the day at the poolside such as burgers, chips, toasties, fresh fruit and cake. There was also ice cream and slush puppies for the children. The pool area was great although my one complaint would be that a lot of the sun loungers appeared to be reserved all day while the guests went to the theme park leaving other guests who wanted to lie by the pool with none. There are various pool games throughout the day and kiddies entertainment at night. Entry into the theme park was also included and is where we spent most of our time. If you want to go on the big rides but don't want to pay for an express pass go around teatime (5-6pm), I found the queues were a lot shorter then with some rides having no queue at all. Entry into the water park is not included during the summer months but you do get 30% off for being a hotel guest and we found it well worth going to. So, if you are looking for a fun filled holiday, Port Aventura is the place to go and in particular Hotel El Paso.
The best thing about my stay was...The free entry into Port Aventura!

We stayed in The El Paso Hotel for two fun filled weeks... I had two young boys in tow one nearly 10 & one just gone 11 our stay which was all inclusive was without flaw & reached much more than our expectations... The staff were super so polite & friendly and ever so helpful, pool activities were ample & the staff really made the kidz make the most of their day by the pool.. Really liked the fact that there were lifeguards at the pools at all times, Our room was perfect quiet spacious full filled all our needs with a balcony also which was a nice relaxing space to sit & enjoy the fresh air our room was also extremely clean & maintained to a high level daily which included the provision of clean fresh towels daily... Would highly reccommend that every family experience the El Paso as quote en quote from two little boys "best holiday ever!!!" We loved everything about our stay especially the fact that we were so close to the Park with unlimited entry, hours, days & nites of fab fun
The best thing about my stay was...The best thing about our stay was the unlimited access to the Park as there is so so much to see and do!!
