Accommodation spacious and very good terrace but only for 3 people. Was half board and food disappointing. Pools not good for non swimmers as 2 pools 1.70 metres but sunbeds and small bar with snacks ok. Spacious around pool and shade also. Beach very close and great for children. Not handy for good bars, restaurants and entertainment as quite a distance from the main Playa Blanca. Bus fine and taxis ok. Staff pleasant.
The best thing about my stay was...Close to Flamingo Beach

Im sure the adverts said Sea view..well there wasnt any.We started in a room right next to noisy road but were able to get a transfer to a quieter room on the other side of the complex. The rooms were pretty basic. No kettle..I mean come on!
The best thing about my stay was...The nice beach was only a 5 minite walk away.

Good little resort, very close to Playa Flamengo (only 150mt far away and almost all on a pedonalized way). Good and lovely staff.
The best thing about my stay was...Location, nice staff.

Good location but facilities in accommodation need upgrading
Good location near to the sea, free wifi, cleaners call almost every day, plenty of car parking. Sitting area spacious and comfortable. Not easy to find the place in the dark as the main lighted sign on the road is to Rent a Car! Reception closes at 9pm. Kitchen facilities poor; only 3 cups, plates, cutlery - a problem when entertaining friends staying in a nearby resort. Toaster did not work on arrival, although replaced, just a small electric hob, no oven, microwave, or dishwasher. TV remote control had to be obtained from reception on payment of 20€ deposit. Single beds not the softest we have slept on! Our friends had much superior accommodation nearby and paid less.

Playa Limones-clean & reasonable
Gary Fleming, Edinburgh
Only stayed for 2 nights, found the location about 10-15 min walk to Playa Blanca main centre although there was a nice beach and restaurants across the road 5 mins away. Staff were friendly, room was clean and everything we needed. Pool wasn't heated, but in summer its not really necessary. Didn't eat in the restaurant due to only being there 2 nights.
The best thing about my stay was...Nice and quiet

Great place for a relaxing holiday
P Goldthorpe, Chesterfield
This was our first visit to Playa Limones and we would definitely go again. The semi-detached bungalows may be a little dated but were clean and comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water. Cooking facilities were basic, only 2 rings but we ate out every night so this didn't really bother us. Microwaves were available to hire but we didn't. The complex was a fair walk away from the main bars and restaurants and was very quiet. The on-site bar closed at 9pm most evenings which surprised us a bit but we were told that they stay open later when they are busier. The patio area outside the bungalow faced the sun all day and was great for sitting out in the afternoon/evening. Take some mossie repellant though as we were bitten on the first night. The pool area was fine, although some of the sun beds were a bit worse for wear. We went to the beach most days as it was only about 100m from the front entrance. 9 euros for 2 beds and an umbrella. We had a car and toured around the island during our stay and preferred Playa Blanca to the other resorts.
The best thing about my stay was...Proximity to the beach and the great weather!

Playa Limones - a good quiet family resort
Very clean and tidy bungalow which was regularly cleaned (4 times in one week). 3 medium sized pools which are safe, but no life guard. Great shaded section for those who don't like the sun and plenty of free sunbeds and umbrellas. Very small bar and there is no evening entertainment at all other than the bar, but good if you like a quiet resort. One pool table (1 euro), free table tennis (table in poor condition) and mini golf (3 euros per person - and not in great condition. Receptionists very helpful and friendly, speaking very good English. Booked a trip and our taxi home for us. Use the local Spar or Netto in Playa Blanca, much cheaper than the local super markets.

Just returned from last two weeks in January, weather disappointing, accommodation adequate but cooking facilities inadequate ie hob but no oven. Extras per week were - safe- 14 euros, heater -16 euros, mattress for sun lounger- 10 euros, laundry-9 euros. Layout & location fine, maid service excellent, didn't try the restaurant so cannot comment. We are probably over fussy, so if all the above isn't that important then we would recommend the complex. -

Very nice place to stay. Large leaving room with open plan kitchen, decent size bedroom with big wardrobe nice bathroom (shower tray only, no bath). There is a large patio with your private sun loungers, small table and chairs as well. Peaceful and quiet. 3 round swimming pools, small restaurant and VERY VERY friendly staff. Short distance walk (2 min) to a lovely Playa Flamingo beach with golden sand. 15min walk to the town centre with lots of restaurants and shops. There is also lots of possible activities including scuba diving courses in cross a road Playa Flamingo. The only cons, bungalow was not cleaned properly, towels are changed twice a week and linen only once. Also there is no air conditioning in bungalows. Anyway, I can certainely recommend the place and I will definetely come back!
