Stay was pleasant, room was cleaned everyday, fresh towels delivered. We were allocated a room literally behind the reception area and luggage room, so relatively noisy at times. Other than that hotel has 3 pools (including a heated pool) which was great as first few days still a little chilly. All in all good stay, meets its star status.
The best thing about my stay was...Heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna facility, friendly staff

Pleasent hotel with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast
Phil Hawkes, Uk
We are a family of six who stayed at the Pergola Hotal and Spa for a week during Easter 2018. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience as the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room booked (an apartment for 6) was clean and tidy and large enough for all of us. However, the apartment was a little dated and although clean with everything working, lacked a four star touch. We booked on a self catering basis and found that the apartment was well stocked for simple meals which you could cook yourselves. However, we also decided to try some of the hotel breakfasts which were delicious and very good value at around £6 each. They consisted of continental and cooked breakfast with a multitude of pastries, yoghurts, team coffee, fruit juices etc and were delicious. We cannot comment on the evening meals as we were out exploring every day and did not return to the hotel until after dinner. The hotel has three swimming pools - the two outside pools were unseated and so too cold to use dur8ng our visit, but they did look very tempting! The indoor pool was heated, but needed a bit of an update. The air conditioning unit beside the pool was leaking water and the changing rooms were unisex which were not really suitable for guests. The hotel is built on the side of a hill and can be a bit like a rabbit warren with two lifts going from floors 0 to 4 and one lift going from floor 0 to floor 7. As long as you stick to the main lift, you will be fine. In fact, the quirkiness of the design of the hotel made it enjoyable as you had to use some logic to find your way around. We would recommend this hotel for a visit primarily as the Staff were genuinely friendly and the food good value.
The best thing about my stay was...The friendly staff, the delicious food, the comfortable atmosphere.

Hotel & food was lovely , though extremely cold in the rooms / bar. Weather & district were a bit hit & miss , not the hotels fault. The resort & area all seemed to be like a building site , to be honest I didn't really see the appeal of the resort , there's much nicer places to visit. Veletta & Mdina are a must to go to if visiting Malta
The best thing about my stay was...The food all lovely

We’ve recently come back from Malta after a short break, hotel was good value & the breakfast was good with lots of choice however restaurant not great we ended up eating out, once at a neighbouring hotel which also had a nice & warm cocktail lounge with cocktails that were far more superior to the ones served at this hotel. The reason for booking this hotel was for the spa it being the middle of winter we thought it would be the ideal place to relax and chill out unfortunately this particular spa lacked atmosphere & warmth it was freezing both the pool & jacuzzi & the room itself so we didn’t go back , felt like it was a it of false advertising & could have been a real advantage during the winter season.

A great hotel for a relaxed break
Lou Ellerton, London, UK
The Pergola Spa hotel is a friendly and well equipped hotel in the centre of Mellieha town. It offers two outdoor pools, both of which are fairly small but nicely laid out, and more than fine for a dip to cool off. Other facilities include an indoor pool with jacuzzi, a large games room, and internet access via a PC in Reception. The hotel's Da Vinci spa has a great range of treatments at very reasonable prices. There are three restaurants, with a range of food from burgers and chips to more formal buffets. Breakfast is excellent, with fruit, cereal, pastries, bacon & eggs and freshly made waffles! Most rooms are spacious twin or doubles, with a good-sized balcony. There is a mini bar in each room which is empty on arrival - handy for storing drinks bought elsewhere - or else can be filled at your request by the hotel. DVD players can also be rented from reception. We arrived to be given a room on one of the lowest floors, which was small, had no balcony and was less than impressive. When we asked at Reception, though, we were upgraded to very comfortable room with balcony, at no additional charge. If you are planning a stay at the Pergola, it's worth emailing them to request a balcony room. The hotel is very close to the centre of Mellieha, which has a handful of bars, restaurants and shops, and fifteen minutes' walk from the beach at Mellieha Bay (or 5 minutes by bus from outside the hotel).

We stayed in this hotel over New Year and found the staff very helpful. The breakfast was good with a a good selection of breakfast items and the sea views were amazing. The only down side to this hotel and one we raised with them is the noise from the corridors that have no carpets or any way of muffling the echoes from feet and voices.

Lovely stay at the pergola, staff where really friendly and helpful. great location with easy access to transport, hotel very clean and food was good and reasonably priced. My only fault was the lack if entertainment at night. Bar closes at 11 and the place us very quiet due to this, think you's are definitely missing a trick guys! I will defdnitley return.though in spite of this drawback. Thank you pergola for a great stay.
The best thing about my stay was...Friendly staff and swimming pools.
