Central hotel for visiting York

Second stay at the Park inn. Rooms clean, nice river view, good buffet breakfast. Friendly staff. We stayed for four nights. Only one problem, we where woken at 2am by the fire alarm and not given a satisfactory explanation as to why it went off, anyway this spolt our last night's sleep.

Stayed for one night during the school holidays. Lovely hotel, very clean had a room with a River view and the staff were really pleasant. Really close to the train station and the City Centre, would have no hesitation in staying again when next visiting York

not happy we arrived at hotel at 7 pm to be told we were double booked and had to be moved to another hotel when they found one. We were moved to the hampton by hilton hotel a little further out of town . The room was fine but the bed was very uncomfortable resulting in my wife having a very sore back making getting around on sunday not very nice for her and not being able to go to work today. My booking was made several weeks ago so why they had to wait until we checked in to tell us i dont know! regards one very dissapointed customer john gallagher

this was awesome, with the veranda overlooking river, nice and quiet and u could smoke outside on veranda.....v comfy. fantastic b/fast.everything was excellent...a pleasure indeed...5 stars and more......welll done, and the parking was excellent also........we will stay again and again...Mr & Mrs PA HUDSON.....From Bishop Auckland

GREAT LOCATION, MINUTES AWAY FROM RESTAURANTS, PUBS AND SHOPS. DATED BUT CLEAN ROOMS. VERY GOOD SELECTION OF FOOD FOR BREAKFAST. DON'T COME HERE THOUGH IF YOU ARE EXPECTING TO BE ABLE TO GET A DRINK IN THE HOTEL BAR AFTER A LONG DAY OUT AND ABOUT, THERE NEVER SEEMED TO BE ANYONE AROUND TO SERVE !
