Good accommodation, apartment basic, but everything you need to self cater, very clean, plenty bed linen, towels, enjoyed stay. Staff very very pleasant and helpful. Location good in Mil Palmeras. God value for money would recommend.
The best thing about my stay was...Location

Booked for one night 17th October felt so relaxed here decided to stay another night. The apartment was very spacious for just two of us and the price was great.although the place is a little tired it was clean with fresh towels daily and sheets were crisp white. We had dinner in the restaurant one night. The food was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and polite.Would defiantly book again.
The best thing about my stay was...Plenty of space for two people.

Not for english families
Sarah Thistlethwaite, Accrington
Everything in spanish english children not even given a chance to take part in the childrens entertainment. Staff walk past english children and do not even acknowledge them. No evening entertainment and nothing near the apartments. Nobody came and cleaned our rooms whilst there and no clean bedding. Maids knocked on once and offered clean towels. The pool area was ok but could have been cleaner. A dirty nappy was left between sunloungers at the poolside by a spanish family. The apartment was a very good size and the balcony was too although very basic we had to cook toast in a frying pan! There was a small slide and play area for young children but this consisted of little plastic chairs each with legs broken off and the same with the table. The older spanish children took over the park which i would say was for children aged 1-4 and threw the chaira etc around at each other which meant i had to remove my 3 year old incase he got hurt. The staff and the parents allowed them to do this. Overall a poor place to stay and we will never return.
The best thing about my stay was...Having a car and being able to leave to take our children to find some entertainment.

OK for a short break
Ian , Cheshire
We stayed at Palmera beach for a 2 night stopover before the airport, 2 weeks Before xmas so it was very quiet. We had a 2 bed apartment 3rd (top) floor overlooking the Beach, it was a very good standard 3* I would rate it, the balcony was huge, we had the bonus a recliner with cushion, the living area, Kitchen, bedrooms were of a good standard, the bathroom was small but adequate. There were very few guests in the hotel & we were the only people half board. Reception staff were great & spoke good English. Breakfast was good with eggs, bacon & the usual ham, cheese, pastries, the only bad point was that the restaurant was closed in the evening & we had to eat in the bar with very little choice. However, they had 2 for 1 “happy hour” in the bar From 6-7pm which was great The location was very quiet, but lovely beach’s all around, we walked out Left & left, down the steps & walk down the beach to the campomar marina 22c sun mid December not bad eh. Straight down the road into Mil Palmeras there is a bank, supermarket & a few bars open even this time of year. Would recommend the hotel for a short break or a good base with a car.
The best thing about my stay was...The Beaches all around

Not fantastic but value for money
Elliott, Somewhere in Spain
We've stayed at this hotel before, but for some reason this time the stay was less impressive than before. The rooms are certainly adequate, with a kitchen and plenty of space. The beds are a little on the hard side, but some people like that. Shower was decent with reliable hot water. Don't rely on the Wi-Fi connection in your room as I had to do the 'signal dance' just to pick up email... however in the hallway you seem to get all the signal you need. Even with full signal, sending email using outlook appears to be blocked by the hotel. Couldn't send a single email from my laptop. Being half board we had a buffet breakfast and dinner each day. Breakfast was nice with the usual kind of selections (fried egg, bacon, frankfurters ,toast, cereal, yoghurt etc). Dinner was less impressive, much of the hot food was cold, and the ice cream is stored in a fridge rather than a freezer, which one night they forgot to turn on so it was basically warm cream. With that said, when I mentioned it to the hostess she went and fetched a fresh batch from the kitchen and ensured the fridge was turned on. My 4 year old son had a bad tummy during our stay. Not sure if that was a coincidence? For 2 of the nights there was obviously a coach party or similar who had reserved 80% of the dining hall for dinner. Granted the hotel wasn't busy, and the hotel had clearly thought outside the box to generate cash flow, but it did severely limit where else we could sit, since we were 5 people and all available tables were set for 4. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. Other than that, not much else to comment on. There was no entertainment organised while we were there, but it is a bit off season so I guess that's excusable. All in all, it was cheap, and we got what we paid for, a break away with somewhere to sleep and something to eat. Not sure I'd recommend it for your family holiday though.
The best thing about my stay was...Cheap

Lovely Holiday In A Lovely Hotel
kerri, doncaster. uk
me and my pertner stayed her last week and at first looking on google maps i was thinking ahh its in the middle of nowhere, yes it is kind of situated out but it isnt a lot to get a taxi to the busy parts. although we enjoyed lovely days around the pool with friendly staff in all areas of the hotel. the balcony view was really nice, rooms were big and had lots of room. food was different and delicious every day. we spent some days at the 2 beachs that were next to each other and most nights we walked down the road to where they had some local lovely spanish bars and resturants. the weather was lovely. i could not fault this hotel and place one bit! :) would go back again tomorrow x
The best thing about my stay was...everything!
