An unexpected oasis
Shona, United Kingdom
My husband and I and our 16 year old daughter have just returned from a week at Palm Oasis and were very pleasantly surprised and pleased with the quality of the hotel. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. With about 400 rooms on site the hotel didn't feel overcrowed. Rooms were located in the hotel itself, or in 3 storey villas which were located in the gardens. Our 1 bed apartment had a good size terrace and the added bonus of a roof top solarium The rooms were spacious with a proper kitchen, which was well stocked and a large bathroom including jacuzzi bath. The grounds and gardens were lush and well maintained. The pools were of a good size and the sunloungers positioned in small groups with tables and parasols for every couple of chairs, so there wasn't a feeling of being in crowded. We choose to go half board and there was a comprehensive buffet for both breakfast and dinner and good variety of dishes each day. The hotel is located up on the hill away from the beach with great views across Maspalomas. We went down to the beach area a couple of times using the free bus service from outside the hotel and ventured in to town on evening with a taxi journey costing no more than 5 Euro including tip. The staff were very friendly and there was a large team working to ensure our stay went well. We particularly valued the little details; pool towels which could be exchanged a couple of times during the stay; the water, tea and milk provided for our arrival, tea towels, washing up liquid and dish clothes provided. This is not a lively entertainment hotel, although there were some pool and childrens activities as well as a pianist a couple of evenings. But my 16 year old was happy with the resort and we all said we would be very happy to return to the hotel.
The best thing about my stay was...Peace and relaxation

A peaceful Oasis
Dave Chambers, Bristol , England
Spent one week with wife in early March 2017 . Allocated Apartment D425 which was a large Studio on floor 4 of 5 overlooking Tennis Court and Minigolf with views of Maspalomas . Comfortable double bed with lots of storage space . Small TV which included BBC1 and ITV and free wi-fi . Was on half board basis and both breakfast and evening meal were of good quality . Staff very helpful and broken shower repaired within 30 minutes . Bathroom had hydro massage bath which was exceptional . Only issue with the Hotel is that it is in a very quiet area with very little around and the hotel had no real evening entertainment . The pools and grounds however more than make up for the lack of evening buzz . A taxi to Playa de Ingles costs less than 4 Euros and Hotel provides free shuttle bus to local beach at Melonares. . Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting a quiet break in a quality Hotel .
The best thing about my stay was...Hotel grounds and pools and hydro-massage bath

Just arrived back from this wonderful hotel
Jill Parnell, Southampton England
The hotel lived up to its name, just spent a week in these lovely apartments, had a lovely view from the room and was very quiet. The pools and gardens are really lovely, the rooms are very spacious and clean, with a huge balcony. The staff are friendly and helpful, the only down side is the evening buffet not much choice and a small resturant compared to the size of the hotel, breakfast is well worth a visit. There isn't much around the hotel as it is high up on a hill, however the beach and restaurants are only a 5Euro taxi ride away. Would definitely go back as these are the best apartments I have stayed in .
The best thing about my stay was...The lovely clean spacious comfortable apartment

Tranquility not far from tourist areas
Just back from a 9 day stay in palm oasis. What a fabulous resort! From the day we arrived everyone was so friendly and helpful and willing to help with any queries you may have. Apartments and grounds were spotless and kept immaculate. Pool area is beautiful. The resort is located on top of a steep hill but taxi to lighthouse area of maspalomas (nice restaurants) is under 5e. The yumbo centre is also less than 5e in a taxi. There is a taxi rank located outside the resort so there is never a problem in getting one. There is a small supermarket on site which has the basics and a spar shop around the corner. The only negative I can give is that the Roma are very warm as the air conditioning does not come on until august. Apart from that we were very pleased with our stay and wish to return.

Very quiet and relaxing in beautiful grounds
B Monaghan, Cardiff
A very well-kept and peaceful hotel with wonderful heated pools/hot-tub set amongst beautiful gardens. Our apartment was very well-appointed and included whirlpool bath and large terrace with dining area and 2 comfortable sun loungers. Service was impeccable and a problem with our balcony door was dealt with 5 mins after we reported it. Although the hotel is situated on the edge of Maspalomas at the top of a steep hill a 5 min taxi ride (for 4 euros) will take you to the promenade at Meloneras with it's excellent selection of restaurants and designer shops. We would definitely return. The heated pools were the main attraction for our 3 children.
The best thing about my stay was...The heated pools and beautiful grounds. Very well-appointed apartment.

We have just returned from a week’s stay at this hotel it was our 3rd visit to the Palm Oasis and we will defiantly be returning. The grounds are very well maintained with two large swimming pools one children’s pool plus Jacuzzi with a great poolside restaurant for cold drinks and lunch time snacks. There is also main restaurant serving breakfast and evening meals. We could not fault the outside area at all. There is also a convenient shop on the complex offering a good variety of food and drinks. The apartments are spacious and well equipped the balcony’s are a great size with a table and chairs and also sun loungers. The apartments are cleaned daily. The only thing I would say is the furniture is looking a bit dated now, although I have been told there are plans to update it very soon. But that is the only negative thing I could say about it really. Although I personally think it’s a little dated it’s all very clean and tidy There is not a lot around within walking distance of the complex. Although everything you could want is only a short drive away. We hired car so it was not an issue for us. But if you stay here you should bare this in mind. We will defiantly be returning here.
