Good the bad and the beautiful
Ben, United Kingdom
Nice little complex with beautiful pool area... Small pool perfect for toddlers. We had an upstairs downstairs apartment which was spacey and clean. Cleaner and fresh towels etc every day. We were all inclusive and always had plenty of food choices and enjoyed it on the whole. The hotel doesn't have a designated barman and it was one of the only things that annoyed us throughout our stay. You'd have to go and ask poor reception girls or wait for someone to come and serve you. The girls from reception tried there best to be happy about it but you can tell they don't want to be doing it. Even if they had a soft drink help yourself dispenser, a beer on tap self serve pump, I think it would make the whole experience better. Numerous occasions you'd have to wait over 5 mins for a member of staff. The only other negative is no entertainment on most evenings. 2 of the 7 nights a singer came in for an hour. Other than that nothing. I think even a kids party song CD or something would give kids something to do. Feels like the hotel want you out on a night.... The hotel location is fantastic, the harbour is a 5 minute walk (lovely restaurants and great atmosphere)..... There is a place called big Apple a 5 minute walk in the other direction (has a pool with a slide/trampolines/cars etc....) At sunset it's well worth going down to the lighthouse and taking in the view, it's absolutely incredible. On the whole we had such a relaxing stay and that's saying something as we have a 2 & 4 yr old. Tip: hotel next door has all sorts of facilities and we made use of the outdoor pitch and spent an afternoon at the pool area with friends we met... (Pirate ship and slides)
The best thing about my stay was...Pool area

Great value family holiday
Mrs James, Buckinghamshire
We have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Nuramar. We were put in a 2 bed villa with 2 double sofa beds on the ground floor. Very spacious and the cleaners were fantastic and the towels were replaced every day. Fully air conditioned and 2 seating areas outside, one on ground floor and one off the double bedroom upstairs. The staff were fantastic and very chatty, especially to our children. I must mention the bar lady in particular, she was brilliant with the children and always so happy and friendly, even at the end of her very long shift. The female life guard was again fantastic. Chatting to everyone and not only reminding the children of safety but encouraging them, especially the little ones with swimming tasks and rewarding with a certificate. The food was great for what we paid. Yes, a little repetitive and a lot of pork but it all tastes great and the chefs were very helpful when asking about the dish. The smack time was a huge hit with our two 15 year old sons and 12 year old daughter. The pool was a lively size and always had plenty of sun beds. Although I do have to stress that on our 6th day one of our sons started to complain of a bad ear. It got to the point of crying in pain so we had to take a trip to the pharmacy and doctor. After receiving meds and returning to the Nuramar, I was informed by others families that our son was the 8th person to have this nasty outer/inner ear infection. When we reported this to reception, we were informed that pool gets tested twice a day. No body saw this occur. Two other families were so helpful to us and even helped out with there information and meds so our son could be well enough to fly home. On the day before we travelled home, a couple of men came and got a sample of the water. That was the ONLY time in 11 days we witnessed it. It's a shame that this did put a dampener on the end of our holiday.
The best thing about my stay was...The spacious villa.

Great Value, Fabulous Food
Paul McCann, Denham, Bucks.
Accommodation was bigger and better than we expected. Not a large complex, but big enough to impress my wife and I. Very friendly, helpful reception staff. Nice pool, plenty of loungers. Comfortable walk down to lively harbour. Cuitadella is a must to visit nearby, easily accessible by bus. The best thing we liked about Nuramar was the food. The dining area looks more like a works canteen than a restaurant, but we loved the food. Plenty of variety of a very high standard. We intended to have a few meals down in the harbour, but only managed one, because the food in Nuramar was too good to miss!
The best thing about my stay was...The food!

We were supposed to be there as a family of four. Unfortunately my husband could not come. I went with a 16 year old and 12 year old with severe learning disabilities. We had a good time. Hotel is in nice location within walking distance to lovely quiet beach and harbour. Rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. Decor could do with an uplift. Staff very friendly. Food ok but on the cool side. We were there last week of season so most things were closed. It was very quiet but we liked it that way. Downside was the very old tv. Could only get bbc 24 news on. But not a big problem.
The best thing about my stay was...Friendly hotel.

The apartments need updating. The staff were all friendly & helpful. The food was very nice but could have been warmer. There was plenty of choice for the main course but the sweets were limited. The soup was the only let down as it was like water. There could have been more entertainment
The best thing about my stay was...location

Great value for money
Five shared a two bed apartment - was more than enough room & extra shower room worked great. Apartments could do with a little updating but can't fault the cleanliness & changing of bedding & towels. Air conditioning units worked great. Going out of school holidays was quieter but that was what we wanted. Not much going on for kids apart from the swimming pool but that suited our purpose. Was a shame that the bar closed at 11pm. Great location for walking down to the harbour where there's plenty of choice for eating. All inclusive option was good for breakfast, lunch & snacks but not great dinner choice, although it was always our intention to go out for dinner.
The best thing about my stay was...Quiet location - good value for money

All inclusive at a budget that works
Lee Simpson, United Kingdom
Upon arrival things were going well well. My family which consisted of two adults and two children aged 13 and 9 arrived late and a plate of bread and salad and meats were prepared for our late arrival. Which was a nice touch! The beds and the apartments were clean and spacious. We went late in the season which meant there was little in the form of entertainment, saying that the magic act was good. All the people staying at the resort mixed well, but unfortunately the quality of the food was below my expectations and the children s needs were hardly catered for in the kitchen. The beer was served in small glasses and I much more a pint glass lover not a half pint lover......The pool was good but we were leaving on the last day of the season and they typically rushed the few 16 people left and packed everything away......and shut everything up before we were being collected. I had paid the late checkout fee and it was obviously they were not going to stay until the end of my holiday! I feel cheated out of the thirty euros......Most probably will stay closer to the resort but a great introduction to all inclusive just don't have high expectations.
The best thing about my stay was...The pool
