We stayed on the far left of the accommodation away from the entrance, believed it is called the Windsor section. The staircase had holes in the walls, we had a seaview room, only problem was the windows were in a desperate need of a clean in order to see it properly. The beds were comfortable, but basic, the furnishings are in need of updating, breakfast was lovely, there was a poster advertising wedding packages for 2015, now in 2017???. Couches ripped in the bar section, before we booked the accommodation we asked if the facilities were free, through Britannia Hotels themselves, then get to the hotel and told to swim I would have to pay £2,00 per adult. Only positive thing was the breakfast.
The best thing about my stay was...Breakfast

The room we where given had no windows,no fresh air, noisy, next to lift, next day was given a new room at the front, with windows (dirty),nosiy water pipes, broken draws, the bedding is hard not light and fluffy (camped in softer fields), the evening meal well it was suppose Too be roast beef the worst meal ever, made airline food look and taste good, the breakfast was the only thing of greatness, all you could eat,to be honest it's shabby and old, needs a good revamp, as said earlier the breakfast and staff are great.
The best thing about my stay was...to be honest the walk along the sea front and the sunset

Very dated needs much TLC

Stayed at this Hotel a few times in the past, but always stayed main block behind reception! This time we was put in rooms on the first floor in the block to the left of the building my god! I thought I was in prison! That bad ppl, dirty, tired, holes & cracks everywhere . Did one night came home was supposed to be there 2 bed was so bad could not sleep at all, the wind was bad so all you could hear was clinking and clanging of what seemed to be a building site! The room was far to hot but the radiators was not on :/ window only opened a little, the crap on the curtains was disgusting we bought disinfectant wipes and used them on the way out!! I was so unimpressed because we was so looking forward to this weekend away. The staff in the reception area brilliant. The staff in the bars and, fitness part was very rude and could not be bothered at all ...we did not stay in the fitness part walked in walked out! Disgusting the pool was a disgusting colour but it was the surrounding areas also that was outrageous ! Broke, rotten , slimmy, errrr so wrong! Breakfast was ok, but the staff in the so called restaurant need to have new shirts, they was so grey and old! You would think the staff would have their uniforms cleaned for them at the so called hotel! Well, at least their shirts and blouses ......

The hotel needs cleaning and updating but staff are great.
aadele taylor, Norwich
The hotel is in desperate need of attention. the chairs are torn and marked, decor dated and the stage looked ready to fall down. There is a limited number of family rooms and did not get interconnecting door for any of our 5 rooms despite asking because of this worked out expensive as needed alot of rooms to accomodate a family. The food was fantastic lots of choice and the staff in the restaurant couldn;t be more helpful. The pool was nice and was not to busy. rooms were very basic but appeared clean. great location for the illuminations.
The best thing about my stay was...food and the restaurant staff.

Not as bad as expected but not worth the money
I'll keep this short an simple pro's reception staff were friendly carpark is large and easy to get out of unlike most of the B&B's in blackpool room was clean jacuzzi bath was nice cons the room didnt have a window!!! room was small and furniture very large so space around bed was at a minimum had to check out by 10am distance from the centre of blackpool would have asked to move to a room with a window but after reading some of the reviews beforehand decided i'd rather stick with a clean one as we were only in it to sleep for one night decided not to have breakfast after seeing the mouse photos so cant comment on the dining area definitely not worth the full price either pay more or get a B&B closer to the piers
The best thing about my stay was...car park

Never never again
Wayne harris, Bradford
Hi, we booked in for a two night weekend break on the 1st October 2011 and ended up staying just the one night. The room that we got was no bigger than a 10x8 which wasn't a problem but the whole room needed a dam good clean! The furniture must be at least 10-15 years old and you wouldn't want to put any of your cloths away in the wardrobes or draws because of the smell. The bathroom was full of mould and the bath and sink had cracks in them making them very unhygienic! The floor in the bathroom was sticky I can only imangine why. The weather was good so we decieded to have a drink outside the hotel and the floor was covered with hundreds of discarded cig buts that must of been there for months. Then the entertainment started, I thought I was seeing the auditions for the x factor, they couldn't sing or dance! The whole experiance from start to finish was a joke and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Thankyou norbreck for an awful time!!!!!

1 night stay - June 2011
We stayed for 1 night at the Norbreck Hotel. After reading the reviews we wondered what we might be in for. The first room we were given was already occupied when we got there, for the second we were directed to the other side of the hotel and after a long walk found that room did not exist, the third time lucky we were finally given the correct room. The room was very dated but the seaview was lovely. Breakfast was ok but the evening meal was not the best we have had. The swimming pool was good and the evening entertainment was ok too. The hotel is suitable for children and ours enjoyed the time there, especially the evening entertainment and the swimming pool. If you go not expecting luxury then you will not be disappointed. It is not in a central location and tram rides can work out expensive for a family.
The best thing about my stay was...Family friendly

Dont expect much - you get what you pay for
Only booked this place as it was the cheapest we could find last minute and you really get what you pay for. It is in the middle of nowhere, £10 in a taxi to the town centre. The hotel is like stepping into a tiime machine and going back 40 years, could really do with a lick of paint and a bit of tlc. The rooms are small and basic but clean and fairly comfortable, sound travels though and you'll here those around you moving about at 7am and using toilets and showers. Breakfast was very average, poor quality sausage, dodgy looking scrambled egg and lukewarm beans but the bacon was good. Overall I its not the best place I've ever stayed but certainly not the worst.
The best thing about my stay was...Staff are friendly
