A little gem of a hotel, 5 minutes walk from Grand Place, well equipped and clean rooms - albeit a little smaller than expected, good breakfast. Very helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.
The best thing about my stay was ...

Central, clean, well run, attentive staff, highly recommended, apart from air conditioning in summer. That needs attention. Otherwise a perfect base from which to explore this magnificent city, with so much more to offer than the European Parliament. Breakfast has huge choice and a good start to the day. For travel outwith the city, main station c.8 minutes away. All sights nearby - Grand''Place, St Michel et Gudule, Ste Catherine not far, Sablon c.15 minutes and Marolles. Don't miss the latter's Sunday market, especially in good weather! Restarant in hotel but plenty nearby - Arcadi in Rue Aenberg merits a special mention as does Sin-Ya Chinese near Grand'Place and Bombay Inn. This NH wins because of location.

The hotel is situated on a quiet road at the front of St Michaels Cathederal and a ten minutes gentle stroll to the Grand Place and just aroud the corner from the superb A La Morte Subite bar with a wide selection of Belgian beers.
Reception staff were very friendly, efficient and helpfull; rooms were of adequate size, modern and clean; Breakfast was mainly continental but with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. I thought this was a good quality hotel and have stayed in a lot worse for the same money
