Positives: Arrived at Nautilus just after lunch had closed, the first thing reception did was call the kitchen and ask them to provide us with lunch and then directed me to the bar - a very nice welcome after our journey! Reception desk spoke great english and were able to provide advice and recommendations. The views from the pool area were amazing, and the decking at the bottom of the hotel is fabulous - you can literally jump straight into the sea. Gorgeous! Bar staff were really friendly. Overall, it was very clean. Maids came everyday except Sunday. Negatives: Location was a little isolated. It was 10 Euros for a cab into nearest area with shops/bars otherwise you're limited to the hotel. I run, but there is no way you could walk to Ipsos or Barbati which are only about a mile away as the roads are narrow, winding and very busy - it just wouldn't be safe. Food was ok. Everyone has different tastes, so tricky one. Lots of pork and salads for lunch/dinner, breakfast was generally boiled eggs, salad and cake. Fresh fish would have been nice, and better desserts, but for the money I can't really complain.
The best thing about my stay was...The views. We hired a car for the day and did some beach hopping which was great. Corfu Old Town is well worth a visit.

Lovely hotel surrounded by moutains and trees overlooking sea. Perfect!! Hard working housekeeping and kitchen staff. Good food with plenty of salad choices and Greek eats. Lovely pool, sea platforms with no loud music. Comfy and homely bedrooms. Well done Nautilus.
The best thing about my stay was...The views!!

Nautilus Barbati Review
Kieren Quinn, Sandhurst, Berkshire UK
Booked a week at the Nautilus Hotel Barbati last minute through Alpha Rooms. All aspects of the booking were trouble free and Hotel and Flight details were all confirmed upon request. Flight was with Thomas Cook Airlines and tickets collected no problem at the Airport. The Hotel was comfortable, room clean and situated in annex Hotel Bolock with an excellent Sea View. No issues with noise at all from main Hotel or adjoining properties. Booking was Half Board so included Buffet Breakfast and Buffet Dinner. No real complaints regarding the Food and it was completely sufficient for our needs.Perhaps a greater choice on Dessert in the evening rather than just different varieties of Melon would be preferred, but on the whole good. Had no problems with Hotel Staff, who were polite and friendly when their service was required. My only real complaint was perhaps they could employ more Staff on the Hotel / Pool Bar facility in the evenings from Dinner Time onwards as there were continual queues from "All Inclusive Guests" obtaining their drink requirements. Other than that, no issues. I would say that a Car or other means of transport is essential if staying in this Hotel. The website description of a 10 minute walk to Barbati is perhaps a little on the generous side. The road is narrow with hairpin bends and all downhill to Barbati. The return walk, particularly at nightime would be not so pleasant I imagine. On the whole, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nautilus Barbati and I have to say, other Guests that we spoke to were of the same opinion. We would return if the occasion arose. Hope this review is of help to future customers.
