Brilliant

Booked a 2 night stay for myself and my partner for his birthday. Brilliant location as close enough to the center of Amsterdam (10 mins walk or the hotel provide a shuttle bus to the Amsterdam Centraal Station) but far enough out to escape the madness of the center. Emailed prior to arrival to request a high floor room as reading previous reviews they advised a high room had a brilliant view. I advised that we where celebrating a birthday and could I request a high room, the guest relations team emailed straight back and advised a room had been allocated and also there would be a token gesture in the room on them. On arrival, we where able to check in early as the room was ready, when we got the room the view was amazing (17th floor) and a bar of swiss chocolate and other treats had been left along woth a birthday card, a really nice personal touch and really appreciated. Breakfast in this hotel was amazing and I would highly recommend booking B & B or paying extra for the breakfast. Loads of cheese, cold meats, bread, cakes, pastries, fruit, yoghurt and full cooked breakfast was available. Really brilliant hotel and would highly recommend staying here.

The best thing about my stay was...

Location and luxury
