3 star. You get what you pay for

Hotel complex is large. Lots of different rooms in different buildings available. Our room was ok. Not cleaned to my standard but ok. Food is ok. There is anough to choose from but could be improved. Main bug bear was the pool with the water slides in....completely murky. Filters must not have been cleaned. We avoided it. Lovely beach front & beach bar good
The best thing about my stay was...Beach bar

A big BUT.....
Sunshine, West Yorkshire
We have just returned, and the Messonghi Beach hotel has everything going for it and the potential to be a great holiday destination for families BUT I could not possibly recommend it to anyone until they get their house-keeping in order. On arrival we were put in a dreadful room even though we had paid for a superior room with a sea view. After complaining we were offered a similar room minus the ants, and the next day a better room, but the hotel staff did not offer to help us move and we had to do it all ourselves. As the holiday progressed we had to complain out a coat going missing from our room, broken flush on the toilet which had to be reported twice before it was fixed, then the toilet blocked twice, there were not enough towels, not enough bedding, the fold up bed for my grandaughter broke after the first night and was not repaired fully, broken draws that were reported twice but never fixed and could not be used, rubbish was not removed from the room........need I say more. Its such a shame because everything else about the hotel is above and beyond what you would expect from a three star all inclusive family hotel.
The best thing about my stay was...The view from our room and being so close to the beach.

nice hotel, could be more entertainment
What I liked best was the food, great choice of meats, cakes and fruits, could be more fish. We stayed in the main building which was pretty handy, as the restaurant was just on the first floor and we stayed on the second. However the rooms in the main building are a bit dated, there was no air conditioning, fridge or TV, but if you stay in the bungalows or in the other buildings they look much better, so if you have a choice get one of them. There are 3 tennis courts which are free if you have your own rackets, otherwise 6 euro per hour. And 2 table tennis but better get your own rackets the ones they provide are really bad. The hotel is just at the beach, which is sandy/pebbly. The swimming pools are good with the slides. We were disappointed with the entertainment and games. The only games were at the swimming pool but no darts, ping pong etc. and the night entertainment was like for old people, but maybe because it was the end of September, the season ends and there was a lot old folks:) Oh and one more thing if you want to get a sun bed at the swimming pool (which are free and you need to pay for the ones at the beach) better get up early at around 7-8am, and go and put your towels on them, it does not sound fair but that's what everybody does:(
The best thing about my stay was...food

Overall good apart from few hidden charges :(
It is a massive resort (around 4000! people at once) however it was not too crowded, 3 swimming pools, a beach near by, 3 restaurants. But for the water slides You would have to pay regardless if on the all inclusive basis (£3 per day per person unless You came with another travel agency). They are charging for the sun beds on the beach but beach is dirty (plenty of cigarettes buts, plastic cups and rests of foods) and not sandy. At the pool the music is being play very loudly so I was unable to her the friend who was standing next to me. Internet for an extra supplement which is sad really.
The best thing about my stay was...nice food, room cleaned every day, mini club for children

Good value for money
Resort not fully open when we stayed for a week at the end of April. Rooms in need of soundproofing! Booked all-inclusive package - good value with good choice, if not best cuts of meat. Mostly French speaking. Green bus stop for Corfu town etc just outside hotel entrance. Restaurants and shops nearby.

Best holiday EVER!!!
Katie, Dronfield / Sheffield
Absolutely fantastic!! Lovely place and resort! Room cleaned daily with fresh towels every day, food nice with plenty of variation every night! The pools were very clean and the beach kept tidy. Staff were very nice when you put the effort in to be polite! They all work very hard and aim to please but have to put up with some very rude people too so put the effort in to be nice and you will get the same back! The entertainment was amazing!! The animation team were fantastic!!!! Defintley made our holiday the best ever! I would highly reccomend this holiday to anybody and will hopefully be going back next year! LOVED IT!!
The best thing about my stay was...The entertainment / animation team :)

Just got back from a weeks stay, with my step daughter. We have had the best time ever. The room was lovely, fridge icluded. There is plenty of food to choose from, yes some of it is weird and wonderfull, but you are in greece! Be a little adventures!! The staff work very very hard, and have to deal with many many rude people. We were always polite with a smile, and took the time to try and speak a few greeke words, by the end of the week they were smiling, shaking hands with us, inviting us back next year. ( You only reap what you sow!) Now about the entertainment staff, What can i say, they were fantastic, really made our holiday special!
The best thing about my stay was...The entertainment team!

Good price, good hotel
Aleksandar Vucaj, Novi Sad
HOTEL IS GOOD, FOR The Greek 3 stars is exellent. The only drawback hotel has a restaurant. Insufficient number of Air-conditioning, It can not COOL . The second is the behavior of staff in operation of restaurants. there are hours when the restaurant serves food, let's say for dinner, opening hours until 21.30, but the general races occur, but at 20.45 and the waiters are flying to clean up as soon as possible, so you have to between three restaurants where you are looking for what else. All this is repeated for breakfast and lunch. Also be criticized and not enough bars to serve drinks, but that there and are not open. Who do not mind, freely recommend this hotel.
