Cannot fault this place
Darryl & Michelle Joyce, Cannock, England
Stayed here from 7-14th August 2016 and found a recently refurbished reception area, our room was refurbished too and air con helped due to temperatures at this time of year, food and drink was good plenty to eat unless your really fussy something for everyone all staff friendly and helpful, 1 man entertainment team kept the kids busy all day Good location water taxi 5 minutes walk away and plenty of bars in walking distance, pool large and Sunbeds new with plenty to go round but be warned at 9am when the pool opens there a rush for the best beds, all in all a great hotel which will only get better
The best thing about my stay was...Hotel really modern and comfortable

Excellent location and brill hotel
Tiffany Mcclean, Newtownards
We are only back from our weeks stay at the Marvell club. 29th may - 5th June. My husband and I are 25 and 26. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Ibiza. For the bay it's in the perfect location, close to anywhere u need to go. Rooms are an apartment style which means they are bigger than your average hotel room. Drinks on the all inclusive are brill. It's proper fanta, coke etc and brilliant alcohol selection, far better than any all inclusive we've stated in before. With the food there is always a great selection which means you will always find something even if your fussy. Yes it's not the nicest food you will ever taste in your life but again I think one of the best if not the best for Spanish all inclusive. The hotel has a great deep pool and a kids pool a little outside bar which is super handy for drinks and ice creams and lollies and throughout your day Enrique is always entertaining people with something. Play the games they are fun. The beach is a short walk away and that is where you can get the water taxi. Definitely recommend a trip into San Antonio and its only 3 euro and about ten mins in water taxi. We met a few other couples etc who where all so lovely and just had a ball. The hotel has a great atmosphere and has everything you need. The only two bad things I know of when I was there was the reps, 'sunset cruise' is actually more of a booze cruise. So if you are looking to do that don't unless you are happy to go on a booze cruise and on the day we where going home home our friends we met on the bottom floor got broken into. A masked man cracked the lock on their balcony door but they shouted etc and he ran off. Once again I can't say this is bad about the hotel as this can happen anywhere at anytime and from the looks of things this was extremely rare for this to happen at the Marvell! All in all this is a fantastic place and you will be guaranteed to have a great time :)
The best thing about my stay was...The hotel was in perfect location with great atmosphere, food and drink selection :)

Decent hotel - poor location
Julia Martin, Fife
I stayed at the Marvell with my husband and 4 year old son for 2 weeks in July - we found the staff to be excellent, all very helpful and friendly. The room was basic but clean - our room had a really poor view however we were offered an alternative by the reception staff but decided against it as it was going to cost and additional 16 euros per night. The hotel is mainly full of young single groups who were no bother during the day but could be noisy at night/early morning when they returned from the clubs. We were only bed and breakfast so can't comment on other meals but we found the breakfast selection to be pretty good and there was plenty of it. The only bad thing I would say was about the milk, it wasn't kept in the chiller so was always warm. The pool area was nice, very clean. The animation guy, Enrique was very good and always made an effort to speak to my son and make a fuss every time he saw him round the pool. It was a shame there weren't more kids there though. We were quite disappointed with the location of the hotel - it is right at the end of San An Bay and I would say there was a lack of decent bars and restaurants around. It was more or less cafe type places where the clubbers went for their hangover cure full english breakfast. We chose this hotel and area because we read it was a very family orientated place but were were not impressed by the facilities available at all. If you want to spend your nights in a kids play park full of of bouncy castles and bucking broncos, then this is the place for you. If like us you prefer something a bit more upmarket, then steer clear of San An Bay!
The best thing about my stay was...The weather

Hotel Lovely but has drawbacks
Mary Whelan, Dublin
We had requested a ground floor apartment when booking and when we arrived we were on the third floor, we have a toddler so I don't like heights, also there was no view, you looked out onto the street (would recommend paying the extra for pool/seaview) anyway we went down to reception and explained we didn't want to be too high up and even though they were full they juggled around and we were put on the 1st floor, you are still on a height though as the reception and bar and resturant are on ground floor. Pool area is lovely and kids pool is just nice depth only problem here is that there is about 10 steps down to pool so if you have buggy or wheelchair bound you will struggle. the apartment was cleaned everyday and fresh towels a plenty, we stayed self catering so not sure what the food was like in resturant but we did speak to other guest and they thought it was nice, guest that were staying all inclusive were saying entertainment at night was non existent but it was the 1st week of the season so maybe its better as season goes on. The biggest problem we found with the hotel was that it is very far up on the bay and there was only a few bars around and only one with entertainment in it, to get a taxi into San Antonio cost €7.50 each way and with 3 of us the taxi boat worked out the same, we did walk in a couple of days but not for the faint hearted, also what let the area down is the recession has hit and there are hotels started and not completed so you have building sites all around which spoils the area. beach beside the Complex is all rocky. On the very plus side if you have young kids with you there is two bars beside the complex Vinces BBQ bar and Sams Kareoke bar that have a playground and bouncy castles attached to them for the kids to play in while you have a tipple, you can stay here all night, if you buy a drinks €10 kids go free and can stay all night. Loved the complex but very far up the bay which was a let down, staff very friendly and very helpful, if your looking for just a break and relax would recommend here but if you are looking for a bit of nightlife or to party would not recommend
The best thing about my stay was...Friendly and helpful staff, very clean, family friendly but has drawbacks

Clean Very Spacious Apartment, Excellent Facilities, Great Choice of Food, Best Hotel we have stayed in around the Bay
Matthew Jones, Leeds
Stayed here for three nights before working the summer in Ibiza, after spending various nights in different hotels and selling tickets in san antonio for three months i can honestly say this is one of the top end hotels and would suggest to stay here for anyone looking to have the following: Clean and spacious rooms little noise, very relaxing Super large pool, great for privacy we stayed half board and received great service. The food was different most days and catered for everyone :) Close to the boat ferry for access around san antonio restaurants nearby for lunchtime or something different. Water sports near on the beach outside the hotel milord
The best thing about my stay was...Ibiza !!!

We stayed at the Marvell in July 2011, fab hotel, the pool and the area surrounding it were always very clean. Excellent food in the restaurant and being all inclusive we had the choice of snacks at various times during the day. Our apartment over looked the restaurant dining area/entertainment area which meant we could also see the pool. Bit disappointed with the lack of beach to the back of the hotel but a trip to San Antonio via the riverboat gave us a beach area. The apartment was cleaned every day, fresh towels. Very pleasant stay and would definately return.
The best thing about my stay was...The All Inclusive option and olympic sized pool.

we all had a lovely time
The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. All the staff were very friendly, hardworking and helpful. The pool area was clean and spacious. Would go back to this hotel again as it was great for families but the only thing that let it down was the entertainment. One act was very good and that was a man singing and playing the keyboards, other then that it was poor. A taxi to the airport cost about €26 each way, shuttles were asking about £50 each way. Worth paying extra for a sea view.

Clean and friendly but small rooms and noisy
Alan Lomax, Northwich
A well run , clean apartment complex in a nice area of the bay. Apartment was a little strange with a large main bedroom which looked to have been modernised and a small living/kitchen space which was dated. Just enough floor space to open out the 4th bed on the floor and cooking area was grotty and dated. Our room looked out over the main road at the back of the hotel with " Shooters bar " and " Moby Dick " playing loud music till the early hours. if you like a view from the balcony pay the extra £ 150 !!!! for a view of the bay. Food was well prepared and varied but , like most hotels , was kept warm under IR lamps in trays and was luke warm most of the time. Great for the first few days but we all craved some hot , freshly cooked food very quickly. I never want to see another fried breakfast again! Pool area is excellent and really saved the day for us with 2 lads, 13 and 17, and we know the area well. We paid £ 1600 for 9 days which, on reflection is too much. I think the hotel is overpriced for the accomodation provided and , at £1750 for half board with a sea view would not have been worth the money. We enjoyed the stay but would propbably not go back at these prices and with older children.
The best thing about my stay was...Pool area

gemma langley, stockton on tees
Just returned from Ibiza and had a great holiday. Hotel was great pool area very big and could always get a sunbed around pool, maid service excellent clean towels and beds made everyday. Everybody very friendly, food was plenty very nice but not a great deal of choice although i must say we always found sumething we liked. Kids had a great time. Rooms good although if youre at front of hotel very noisy with bars but music has to be switched of at midnight so not that bad. In all we all had a great time and would definatley reccomend to others
The best thing about my stay was...we had a great time all round

Overall good hotel, would book again
Rooms are clean, food is good and staff very helpful. If you are lucky to be in the quiet part of the hotel (no 20 something club goers) you will have quiet & pleasant stay. Ibiza is for clubgoers after all. Swimming pool also nice and clean. Fun in the hotel is standard, mostly bingo nights with good music here and there. "Animation" team was really trying but at the end of the day it's the crowd / guests that should make the most of it. Area where hotel is based is bit outside of main town (San Antonio) which could be an advantage or disadvantage. Takes about 40min walk to the city centre. Nearest beach is 15min walk, beach & sea water are extremely clean and not that busy. Transport from the hotel around the island is solid but not so frequent (every hour or so). My family really enjoyed staying at this hotel. To sum up it was a good value for money!
The best thing about my stay was...hotel and sea

all round a good hotel....lovely pool, rooms basics but clean and functional. food great, excellent every day. Italian chef..fab! staff very helpful. location nice, a short boat taxi to san antonio! only criticisms: the tv in the room, not working, no english channels....but then again u dont go on holiday to watch tv, but on a rainy day it helps to pass the time. entartainment poor, although still low season. overall i would highly recommend it for the price and I would probably return!

A fantastic location, with close access to all amenties. The staff were so lovely,& very knowledgeable about the local area & things to do & see,thy could not do enough for us.Breakffast was simple but very nice, also the restaurant staff were lovely too.The apartments were immaculately clean, with plenty of wardrobe space & hangers. For value & quality this is a fantastic option.By the way the pool area ios also lovely, with lots of space & a beautifully clean pool. This was our first visit to Ibiza & we loved it!Daytime you must visit Salinas beach(stunning people!)& don't miss Platja de comte beach is also a must.Try & visit the Blue Marlin whilst on the island, exquisite beach bar & spot some celebs, take plenty of money though! Our favourite place of all was KM5 restaurant & bar, this place will blow you away, just look at its website!Booking essential!Pepprs 2 is a great cub/bar close to the hotel, busy place, great music & very friendly staff. As you can see we had a great time, can't wait to go back.

Ignore any bad reviews about this hotel, we booked a week before we went and worried a little but the hotel ia outstanding! the food is out of this world for kids and adults, yes the shallow end of the pool is deepish but there is a small pool for the little ones and the main pool is lovely, the staff are so helpful and friendly and go out of their way to help you. The rooms are very clean and comfy and the air con is a god send, it has a great location and is a very nice loking hotel, there was food fit for anybody and everyone we think this hotel should be 4* we would go again tommorow without a doubt.

Very friendly staff, good location (far enough away from the bars/clubs to get a good nights sleep, but the middle of San Antonio is only 30 mins walk away). Very decent food and lots of choice every day. Nice rooms, great pool etc. Would highly recommend it.
