Beware of hidden charges and dubious all inclusive!!
Alfie Bear, Kent
Staff not very friendly, bar closed at 10pm, drinks limited to half pint of lager and refused to be served if you wanted another within half an hour. Paying for air conditioning is ridiculous. Food repetitive and salty. Phone in room not working, no lock on door, cleaners coming in at 7:30 in the morning.
The best thing about my stay was...Leaving the hotel and eating elsewhere!!

Does what it says on the tin
Helena, Newcastle upon Tyne
We had a lovely week in Zakynthos but the hotel was a lot more basic than I thought that it would be. I also mistakenly thought that there would be more children in the hotel. However, it was clean enough and when we asked for a bigger room they upgraded us, so that was very positive. The food was of good standard but it did get a bit 'samey' after a few days; the morning and afternoon snacks could be better and it would be really nice if there was an a-la-carte restaurant where you could eat a couple of times as part of the all inclusive. The air conditioning cost 35 euros per room, per week - this should definitely be included in the price.
The best thing about my stay was...The big pool and lovely ice cream.

shocking and apalling
terrible food and vile staff avoid at all costs. embarrassing manager and the drink quality shocking pathetic small cups and refused service if you had more that 6 drinks. nice pool and good location right on the strip but this is not enough to justify spending a lot of money on an all inclusive which is spoiled by the staff. PLEASE AVOID
The best thing about my stay was...pool

Hotel nice food was shocking
Claire , Yorkshire
The room was very nice and kept very clean. Although there was no shower holder and no plug so getting a shower was difficult. The food unfortunately let's this hotel down as there was very little variety and what was there was very bad.
The best thing about my stay was...The pool was lovely.

Nice hotel in centre of party strip
Julie Muren, Naerbo
Nice clean hotel on the main nightlife strip set in a large garden setting with gorgeous pool (unheated). Rooms were big with big balconies but smallish bathrooms with bath and shower attachment with good water pressure. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Due to its location on the party street, the hotel is set up for the 18-30's party scene so not recommended for children. All Inc was good value and there was a lot or choice, but if your are a fussy eater then Sirocco Restaurant right next door serves fabulous cheap food. Hotel all inc drinks/cocktails were strong and plentiful 10am to 11pm. Great hotel for youngsters to party.

An apartment would have been better
Natasha Narad, Seven Kings
Considering this is meant to be a four star hotel we did not expect to to find that travelodge back home is better. Bathrooms weren't clean always and we had no shower curtain so a shower meant flooding the floor every time. There was constant noise and speaking as a student who has lived in halls this was worse! I've been on holidays like this before and never have I been unable to sleep. It was constant did not matter what time of day it was people were running, shouting, singing, screaming and even crying in the corridors. Definitely not 4*. The food wasnt good- we ate about two thirds of our meals outside- which when you've paid for all inclusive is a shame as your paying more. We found a cafe just outside the hotel called sirocco. Service was good and food great and free wifi. Another issue was the fact members of staff felt they could just stroll in your room without knocking! This happened twice on one night after coming back from the clubs. We were told we were being noisy when we were in bed ready to fall asleep. There was no apology for just walking in- what if we had been getting dressed? As a group of girls male staff doing that is uncomfortable. On our last day we had to pay extra for late check out- fine. But the receptionist decided she wanted the money before we checked out and so harrassed us for it. She rang us twice and even though we said some of our friends are by the pool we will come and pay when they are back, she hung up and then came to our room. Again letting herself in without knocking. She shouted at us and demanded we pay or she would throw us out. Great service. (if our friends see by the pool we are hardly going to do a runner!) I would recommend hiring a villa or apartment and either cook some of your meals even if it's just beans on toast or going out for them. This hotel is not worth the effort- it ruined our holiday.
The best thing about my stay was...We could pre drink before going out.

amazing hotel and location, food and staff were vile
jadie , coventry
me and two girls stayed at the majestic at the start of june 2012. the majestic spa is in a perfect location, right on the strip and a short walk to the beach. the hotels rooms were amazing, clean and in good condition, and the pool was always a nice place to relax however, the food was horrible. there was no variety, chips were served at breakfast lunch and dinner. spagetti was always there, the food didnt look like it was freshly made, and there was no reall friut/healthy option, it was all just carbs. the buffett has enough room for a large variety of foods, but instead, they choose to just double up. the staff tended to be rude, and the security at night were very intimidating. the bar shut at 11pm, which isnt late enough, especially as it is an 18-30s hotel, and most dont go out until after 12. there is also not a large choice of all inclusive alcoholic drinks, theres 4 spirts and 4 cocktails, which are in what looked like slush puppy machines just spinning around all day, and were far too strong. if the food was improved and the staff were friendlier, then this hotel would be perfect, but for the price of all inclusive, it definatly wasnt up to scratch.
The best thing about my stay was...LOCATION + CLEANLINESS

Beautiful reception, rooms and pool area - however staff and food let it down
Adam Ruaux, Ashford
On arriving we were literally given just the key - not even directed to our room and told nothing about the area or even what time food was served. We also had to pay for a safe, air conditioning and Wi-Fi which the website says are free... However the room was beautiful with a nice view and the pool area and bar were nice. The food was definitely the thing that let the hotel down... the same thing nearly every day, none of it particularly nice and just a real odd combination. We stayed for 11 nights and probably only ate in the restaurant about 4 times. The bar was good though with very friendly staff and pretty much anything you would want to drink.
The best thing about my stay was...Location on Laganas strip

Ruined by staff!!!
Me and my boyfriend went here this year at end of the season. In general the hotel was very clean, the rooms where nice but the best thing about the hotel was the bright blue light around our celling, And the nicest members of staff was the clears. When we first arrived the receptionist was very rude to us and took our passports off us (which is usually standard) but when i asked for them back the next day she refused so i had to lie and demand to get my own passports back, they have no reason to keep them and haven't got it in writing. The spa is over priced and not that great. The pool looked very nice and around the pool was kept very clean but in the pool all the tiles were coming off and dirty around the edge. We found other members of staff was very rude from the restaurant and bar. They finished serving drinks at 11, later on in the night you could only get one drink which would take you forever lining up, the cocktails tasted disgusting and all the same, The larger was weak and the spirits were measured stupidly strong and when you had to much they would refuse to serve you. Even the soft drinks were vial. Also if the staff would lie and say they'd ran out of a certain drink when you asked for it. The manager we found was constantly telling us off for having a laugh, considering its an 18-30 hotel on laganas strip he should of expected us but when a large group of polish came to our hotel making all kinds of noise to early our of the morning they let them do what they wanted. The food was all the same and covered in salt, we ate out a lot and when we didn't all we ate was salad, chip and bread, we spent an additional £300 eating out on food plus the £450 we paid each to go there all-inclusive. They holiday was generally very good because the people we meet, it was right on the strip with plenty of bars and restaurants and what we made of all the excursions but I would advise you do not go here.
The best thing about my stay was...The blue light in the room and the hotel being on the strip.

nice hotel BUT ---
steven ferriby, hull
Be very careful if you are thinking about booking this hotel . The hotels facilities and staff are very good but what they dont tell you is that its a 18 - 30s hotel and full of large groups of young adults who take over the place. There is noise until at least 5am when all the pubs and clubs start closing . Also the food at the hotel is appalling , its virtually the same things lunchtime and teatime every day , so much so that we didnt eat there after the fourth day of our holiday and spent a fortune eating out . Definatley would not stop in this hotel again .
The best thing about my stay was...the weather

nigel morton, bradford west yorkshire
the hotel was nice and clean, and the staff very friendly, the food albeit the same daily was good, what amazed me was that some customers moaned about the food yet still ate there morning noon and night( him with the bad leg) so it wasnt that bad. they kindly swapped us straight away for a pool facing room,no fuss,no problem.

We have just returned from a week at the Majestic Spa. It was a lovely hotel, the rooms were nice and clean. However, the bar service was not that swift. They didn't rush to serve you and sometimes they were busy talking while you were stood there. The food started off nice at the beginning of the week, but went downhill from there. We ended up just eating salads because the main courses weren't that nice. The deserts were gorgeous though! The hotel location is right in the midle of everything so ideal for getting to shops and the beach. There was not a lot for kids to do, and no nightly entertainment. Overall it was a nice and clean hotel, just the food let it down, and I would not rate it as a 4 star hotel.
