Alpharooms' guide to low deposits

How does it work?

On selected hotel or package bookings we are only asking for a low intial deposit payment to secure your booking at today's prices. You will receive full confirmation of your booking as soon as the intial deposit payment has been processed.

How much will I pay today?

You will have to pay the initial booking deposit displayed at the time of booking. This will be £20 deposit for the hotel + a deposit amount for the flight depending on flight price, and any excess baggage. Your accommodation, flights and any airport transfers you have booked, will be covered by your initial low deposit payment.

When will I be expected to pay the balance of the deposit?

The final balance for the flight is due 30 days from the booking date. For the hotel, deposit top-ups are due 30 days and 60 days from the booking date and the final balance is due 28 days before you travel. The amount for transfers, if applicable, will be due with the final balance of the hotel 28 days before you travel. The payment schedule will be clearly displayed at the time of booking and in the booking confirmation.

Your payment method will be securely stored by our payment provider and, if the balance has not already been paid off by the due date, we will attempt to automatically process a payment for each of the monthly instalments on the 1st of every month after your booking date along with any applicable payment fees. Please ensure you have the funds available for these transactions to complete or your booking may be cancelled and any cancellation charges will be applicable. To pay off the outstanding instalments, you can do so from the 'My Account' on the website. Please note each payment will incur an admin fee of £4.95

Will I be affected by price changes?

No. When you pay your deposit you are securing your booking at that price, any changes will not have an effect on your final balance.

Can I cancel my booking?

In the event of cancellation you will be liable for the applicable cancellation charges and a cancellation fee of £30 per person, You can cancel your booking as per our Agency Terms of Business.
