Good stay overall
Rachel C, Dublin,Ireland.
Just bk from a really nice 4night stay here😀 Overall our stay was lovely except for a few negatives, and we would return but if I returned I'd want to stay in a gold apt with rooftop terrace. ¤Silver apt we stayed in was lovely and spacious. Negatives ¤ really let down by the breakfast every morning (scrambled egg watery, rashers very thin streaks of fat, frankfurters were no sausages, all in all very disappointing breakfast and always felt cold. ¤no aircon in room only a fan which didn't generate barely any air ( can imagine in the summer months this would be a major problem. Some staff on reception not very customer service focused (the girl with the curly brown hair stood and continued her conversation with another staff member while we stood like 2 fools waiting for her to ask us were we okay or even acknowledge the fact that we were there and needing assistance..very rude! ¤cleaners came in once In the 5day's we were there(even though the hotel states everyday except 2 days in the week hmmm) gave fresh towels and tissue but cleaned nothing and never changed bedding even though they would have seen it needed changing.
The best thing about my stay was...The complex was really nice for a 3star, great how u have use of 2complex's joined.in the summer this would be great with about 5different pools to choose from.

Just returned from a four night stay at Los Olivos. It was fab! The apartments are well maintained we were in a silver one bedroom apartment which had a lovely terrace with sea view and our door was a few steps to the swimming pool. The complex was lovely and clean and staff were friendly. We had lunch one day at the pool which was also great! The apartments are in a prime position near to everything shops bars restaurants and beach. we will definitely be back next year!
The best thing about my stay was...Everything! I liked the view

Low cost, but a good and relaxing week in Playa de Fanabe, Costa Adeje
We had stayed at the Los Olivos Apart/Hotel once before so we knew that the best feature is the distance to the beach and cafes/restaurants. Los Olivos is reasonably cheap, but the location is great, just 2/3 minutes walk from the beach - they also have a nice clean pool with plenty of sun beds if you want to stay in the complex. The rooms are a bit tatty but they are clean. Beds are a bit uncomfortable but OK. Maybe if you're a bit older then you would want something better. This time we booked our accomodation with Breakfast included. The meals are served at the other "sister" complex, just a 5 minutes walk through the grounds. The food was great, we were really pleased with the variety of hot and cold food avaiable, and there was plenty. The staff were generally good and helpful. The only negative is if you want to change your room because of location or something, it's quite unlikely it will happen. You get what you're given. Another guest was requesting a room change when we arrived, but 4 days later she still hadn't got it. We were ground floor with our balcony looking at the road so were worried about vehicles/people outside, but actually it was fine - not noisy at all. Overall if you want a cheapish stay in Playa de Fanabe, good distance from beach, plenty of good restaurants within a short walk and you're not too worried about a slightly run down room, then i'm sure you can do worse.

Just back from Los Olives and having read some terrible reviews,I wasn't really expecting to much but was pleasantly surprised by these nice apartment-Very clean-All over-Fresh towel/maid service services every day-Good location-Paid £300 for a weeks stay-Great value for money-Had no reason to complain in any way-Perhaps some people are expecting to much-You don't get 5 star for budget money-Go with an open mind and I am sure you will be more than pleased-I was !!
The best thing about my stay was...Location and lots of Sun

Long live Los Olivos
Dawne Parker, Keighley/West yorkshire
The hotel was excellent, the reception staff were very helpful and went out their way to oblige. We booked a studio apartment and were very pleased at the standard - fully equipped with all that was necessary for self catering - although we tended to eat out mostly - and a free television - the maid service was very good and the apartment was kept to a good clean standard. The pool was large and clean with plenty of comfortable sunbeds and umbrella's and very good poolside cafe with a cheerful service - there is also a children's pool. This is our second holiday at Los Olivos and would recommend it highly

Cheap and cheerful
Kerry McKinna, Kilmarnock, Scotland
Apartments were in great central location very close to the beach and nice restaurants, bars etc. Apartments inside had everything required apart from the decor in the bedroom being awful as the paint was falling off the walls. Its a no frills apartment, basic and clean enough with a maid service. Good supermarket onsite and lovely pool area. Apartments are built on a slope so you have to climb lots of stairs to get to apartment if you are on the slope which gets to you after a week. Friendly staff.
The best thing about my stay was...pool area

Awful outdated and ruined our Xmas
We took no notice of the poor comments we read before booking and wish we had done. I had requested a sea view and a renovated room 3 months prior and got a head on view of the toilets! with the doors open and bog lids upright. The beds were the worst thing, camp beds with matteresses from hell! We had to be drunk to sleep on them! What else? Xmas TV Mmmm...Ruined! Complaint 4 times and nothing done, this Tv was crap, wires hanging out, humming sound and Unviewable. The kettle, tea pot, cooker, sofa bed and veranda light! Finally if we hadn't of stayed here we wouldn't know what a lovely little place it was, friendly with a few nice bars and resturants , and best of all Playa El Duque just 10 or 15 mins walk away....it's was worth the agony just to find this beach. So Los Olive oil were giving it a slip permantly.
The best thing about my stay was...The location

This is the third time that we have stayed at Los Olivos and we would definitly consider staying there again. Although the apartments are a bit small for families, the location is second to none, a stride away from the beach, bars and restaurants yet far enough away to escape any noise. Our apartment had a balcony on the roadside but we were not disturbed by any noise and used the large roof terrace instead with its sweeping views across the Fanabe sea front. The pool area has recently been refurbished and we found it very quiet compared to our previous stay in the school holidays when it did get overcrowded. Tip for anyone staying in Adeje, try Otello restaurant for its excellent Canarian chicken and catch Soundchaser band playing at the beach bar, they are excellent. Otherwise there is no better way to chill out than watching the sun set with a cocktail on the beach at Fanabe beach bar, just be careful not to fall asleep in the reclining deck chairs!

Good location, very close to beach and amenities. Stayed in apartment with balcony and sea view. Rooms don't have air conditioning. It took as a few nights to get used to sleeping in very hot bedroom. As mentioned by others the pool area was overcrowded and did not have much room for sunbeds. We preferred the beach. Could have done with a few more utensils in the kitchen; sufficient for the two of us but imagine it to be difficult for a family. Convenient shop and laundrette on site. Receptionist very helpful when we asked for help to find some nice seafood/tapas restaurants. Apartments are cleaned on a daily basis.

The location of this complex is great, just a stride away from the lovely beach at Fanabe. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in the Fanabe area and lots for families to do. The accomodation was clean, fairly spacious, but a bit tired and dated and could have done with a few more kitchen utensils. TV with satelite chanels was included at no extra charge. Pool area was too crowded with not enough space between sunbeds, but this is probably not so bad outside of high season. Pool bar was reasonable with a fairly good selection of foods. A warning to others, beware of BOB with the yellow hair. He is a sales con man selling timeshare and other types of holiday packages. Don't fall for his sales pitch, he is a con man. All in all this complex is a great choice and I would definately stay there again.

Having stayed 2 weeks at the Los Olivos appartments I will trying to book up again. The location is first class on Fanabe beach. Rooms were clean and spacious and the the pool bar was good value and very friendly staff. Only downside, if you are on the road side (same as the main entreance), the bucket lorry arrives every morning at 3.30 am, ear plugs might be useful. This did not spoil a great holiday. This area of <a href="/guide/canaries/tenerife/destination.aspx" title="Tenerife holidays">Tenerife</a> is half the price to eat out compared to Las Americas, a family of 4 averaged 50 euros for a good meal and drink as well, try find that in the UK. Top Class......

The location is the best you could ever hope for in Fanabe the best area in <a href="/guide/canaries/tenerife/destination.aspx" title="Tenerife holidays">Tenerife</a> I think. The Resort has every thing you need like grocery store, Internet, two pools, life gard, lots of sun beds, 24 hour Reception, gardens. The room had full kitchen, iron, phone, bathroom with shower, TV with english programs such as BBC, CNN, Sky news and two movie channels Sony & Hollywwod Movies. Big balcony with view of Sea. The Resort is a 23 Euro taxie ride from Airport. We have been going to <a href="/guide/canaries/tenerife/destination.aspx" title="Tenerife holidays">Tenerife</a> every year for the last 12 years and I will say this is the best Resort and location that you could ever find for a very resonable price from AlPHA ROOMS first time I have ever used them but they will be our travel agent from now on. I forgot to say the beach is only 100 meeters from the Resort. I would recomend Los Olivos to my best friend. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

We had a pleasant stay, rooms are cleaned every day but Sunday and sheets and towels were changed every other day. The rooms are basic but include everything required for a self-catering holiday. We were in a first floor apartment that also had a large roof terrace as well as a balcony. The pool area has been recently refurbished and was very clean. There is a separate baby pool for young children.<br />The location for <a href="/guide/canaries/tenerife/destination.aspx" title="Tenerife holidays">Tenerife</a> was excellent, it is a few minutes walk down the hill to the beach and bars, but not close enough to be disturbed by any external noise.

We arrived at lunchtime and it only took 5-10 mins to check in. We had to leave a deposit of 60 euros for breakages which we would get back when we checked out (meant we didn't have to worry about keeping money back to pay for the taxi back to airport!!! Always a problem for us)<br />The apartment was small but clean and fairly well equipped, kettle, toaster, microwave and 4 large and 4 small wine glasses, these are necessities. We bought a welcome pack from reception with the usual tea, coffee and fairy in it for 10 euros.<br />The apartment was perfectly suituated just 6 steps from the pool a minute from the supermarket and 5 mins walk from the beach and "Geranium walk way" along <a href="/guide/canaries/tenerife/destination.aspx" title="Tenerife holidays">Tenerife</a>'s front.<br />My only gripe was the cooker rings were very slow to heat and i couldn't get the water to boil, but we got a comments form to fill out at the end of our stay and mentioned it then.<br />The pool area was clean with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas and the kids had a ball playing in the pool. Also a few pool tables for older children to pass the odd half hour.<br />We would go back to the complex.
