Las Piramides Hotel

It´s was a really nice being there but the food was bad, every meat more dry than a paper. The location was ok, not so far from all you want to do there..So over all, it was good..

The best thing about my stay was...

The staff and the location.

No frills hotel

Good location for bars, clubs and beach. Very busy around the pool and you struggle to get a bed. All drinks are served in paper or plastic cups and this includes evening drinks. No air con in rooms and often not on in main public areas.

The best thing about my stay was...

Central location and close to beach

Maid service were useless

The hotel was very very nice and clean. The people at reception were very approachable. I went with 4 other young girls. Don't get me wrong our room wasn't spotless but by no means was it revolting. But the cleaners were shocking. They wouldn't even sweep our floor or mop it. They would walk in at all hours of the mornings. They gave us 2 towels between 5 and no toilet paper. We then had to ask reception for extra towels and sheets because we got no fresh ones. Overall the stay was good, thepool was beautiful. But the lack of cleanliness from the madis during the week was awful

The best thing about my stay was...

The pool

plesantry surprised

Having booked this as a last minute and not really expecting much with a 3 star in the food area, we were very pleased with the food on offer which is usually the main issues in 3 star. Always had breakfast and a good evening meal which is the first time we have actually eaten all week in the hotel as didn't feel the need to go out. Room was basic and dated but beds were very comfy. We stayed in a studio and they were good sized rooms.

Not for the faint hearted I am afraid!

I'll keep this plain + simple. We stayed her 20th Feb 2017 for 1 week. Food was fine, always something to eat, yes basic but most def edible unless you are super fussy. Rooms are basic. Our beds thankfully were comfy but others complained theirs were not. No hair dryer or pool towels provided. Our balcony had no sun what so ever, we were on the ground floor. No entertainment team/pool activities. There is some form of 'entertainment' but not till around 10 pm. Parrots riding bikes just did not do it for us!! AI finishes at 22.30!!! Unfortunately we found the white wine undrinkable but solved that by buying a bottle at the onsite supermarket!! Staff were polite. Close to everything but unfortunately too close to the looki looki men offering drugs on the corner of the street! There was also 2 reports of mugging outside the hotel (1 at knife point I believe). Some guests received a letter under their door advising them to be vigilant We as 3 lone females aged between 35 - 45 we did not.. Thankfully word of mouth got around. Worst point - this is an extremely noisy hotel at night, usually from guests heading to their rooms following a night of drinking. Everything is heard. I def would not recommend this hotel for families. The kids will be extremely bored! We made the most of our break and did have a good time but would we return? I'm afraid not!

The best thing about my stay was...

The sunshine!
