Geared up for family fun
Disneyland Paris has brought the magic of Walt Disney to the outskirts of Paris. Take your family to the land where dreams can come true. There are two parks – Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios, with an exciting range of zones waiting to be discovered. The park has seven Disney hotels as well as over 50 places to eat. The whole area is geared up for family fun.
Race Lightning McQueen
The Disneyland Park has 5 exciting zones including Frontierland, home to the renowned and terrifying Big Thunder Mountain. Fantasyland is where Disney’s favourite characters come to life – perhaps spend an afternoon with Peter Pan. Budding Jedi Knights will love Discoveryland and the Jedi Academy. Walt Disney Studios helps bring the movie business to life. Take the studio tour and see how films are created. Younger children will love the Toon Studios – head to Cars Quatre Roues Rallye and line alongside Lightning McQueen in a thrilling race.
Walk along Main Street
The whole park has a magical feel. Children will thrill at the sight of their favourite characters as they walk along Main Street USA. Fans of Sleeping Beauty can marvel at the incredible light display of the Disney Dream show with the famous castle as the backdrop. It is not necessary to stay in one of the themed Disney hotels, park tickets can be purchased separately and you may choose to enjoy the delights of nearby Paris as part of your visit.
Things to do in Disneyland Paris
Eat and drink in Disneyland Paris
There are over 50 places to eat and drink within Disneyland Paris. You can eat your way around the world if you choose to. There are themed restaurants such as Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon, perfect for a chow down with the family. The children will love the wagons and the cowboy themed décor. Many of the hotels offer meal packages which may mean all your dining is taken care of. The parks also offer a good range of places for you to take a break with coffee and a piece of cake. For a slice of Mad Men, head to the New York Bar within the Disney New York Hotel. The wood panelled bar is a great place to unwind after a day of park activity.
If you really want to eat well, try Paris. It’s a short distance away by train from Marne la Vallée.
Disneyland Paris nightlife
Disneyland Paris is probably not the number one party destination. Families will enjoy the restaurants and bars within the hotels but you are not going to find Goofy and Buzz Lightyear rocking the night away. If you need a slice of real life you can hit the bright lights of Paris, easily reached by taxi or train. Be warned, the parks open early and the children will want you there so don’t overdo it.
Shopping in Disneyland Paris
As you would imagine, the shopping opportunities in Disney are endless but mostly Disney themed. If you want the latest Elsa outfit or need a Woody to go with Buzz then the Disney Village is the place to head. If you don’t want to spend any more money than you already have you might like to steer the kids away from the village. The flea markets and boulevards of Paris are littered with high end fashion boutiques and jewellers if the need to shop over powers you.
Things to see in Disneyland Paris
The two parks combined have such a wide range of rides and interactive experiences that it can be difficult to squeeze it all in. There are some rides and events that stand out above the rest and it is a good idea to plan your day around them. Arrive early, be prepared to queue and enjoy it all! The daily Disney Magic on Parade is a must – you get the chance to see all your favourite characters as they pass by. The Disney Dream show held in front of Sleeping Beauties Castle is memorable and stunning. For a spot of thrill seeking the classic Big Thunder Mountain is always hard to beat in Frontierland. Horror fans will enjoy the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Finish off your trip with a personal meet ‘n’ greet with the man himself, Mickey Mouse.
Call in to the Village and sample the famous American Breakfast complete with pancakes and maple syrup. Your breakfast will arrive on roller skates as the waitresses carefully glide their way to your booth.
Lunch with Disney Princes & Princesses
Set in the beautiful Auberge de Cendrillon in Fantasyland, this is a real wonderland experience. Your favourite fairy tale characters are on hand as you enjoy a magical evening meal. This needs to be booked in advance.
Stay in the Disneyland Hotel
Treat yourself to a stay at the enchanting Disneyland Hotel – a beautiful building right at the heart of the park. The magic of Disney is all around and the family will thrill at the little details like the grand Mickey Mouse clock tower.

Well worth a stay
Sue Taylor, United Kingdom
Been to this hotel before but booking through AlphaRooms we got a very good price. Perfect for a cheap place to stay for Disneyland Paris as it has a free shuttle service for the park. Rooms were clean and quite spacious and included a kettle for tea/coffee.
The best thing about my stay was...Very good price
01 September 2017
Clean rooms, but poor hygiene in restaurant. Food was terrible. Long queues outside the building for the breakfast. Could not get regular coffee in the hotel or around it, everywhere were just an instant coffee drinks from coffee machines. Staff was polite but not very helpful. Had a problem to get 2 glasses of ice cubes from the bar in to my room. The children were happy with the bouncy castle and the small farm, but I was not impressed with wild rats around the animals. Free shuttle makes easy to get Disneyland and train station in about 7 minutes.
The best thing about my stay was...Close to Disneyland

ottimo per visitare disneyland paris
enrico cavallaro, italia
The best thing about my stay was...vicinanza ai parchi

Very noisy at all times of the day/night
Sharon Harding, Scotland
Rooms were very dated, most of the staff were friendly, rooms were very noisy at all times of the day & night, wouldnt stay here with my family but served its purpose for our trip to paris.
The best thing about my stay was...Having a bar
21 January 2017
very clean, bit noisy as room was close to reception and bar open to 12, could do with a bin in the bedroom area too. Fab shower, bit chilly in room, couldn't get heating to work, but didn't follow it up as we were not in the room for long.
The best thing about my stay was...clean

Good place to sleep
Good points. *Comfortable beds *Free WiFi *20 minute walk to/from Disney *Large area to eat breakfast *Shop *Good water pressure *Reasonably priced Not so good points *Donkey starts braying at 6:30/7am *The hotel is split into 3/4 large sections (not bad if you don't mind large hotels) *Staff are helpful but have a lack of manners Bad points *Breakfast is basic, full English, toast, cereal, or fruit. All of which taste bland and the fried stuff is freezing. *Luggage lockers sometimes won't open, I had to ask the snappy staff to help with mine. *Educational farm isn't as big as they make it out to be, it's just 1 field and not exactly educational.
The best thing about my stay was...Free WiFi and close proximity to Disneyland

Was ok! Nothing special but staff were very welcoming. Always friendly. Rooms were ok just a little misleading... international channels means just French... tea/coffee in room we never saw but besides that was good shuttle bus to Disney every 15/20 mins and took about 10mins to get there! Very clean hotel.
The best thing about my stay was...Disneyland

Good budget choice
Jennifer Jordan, Nottingham
We usually stay here when we visit Disneyland, typically once a year. Rooms are basic but absolutely fine. Who needs luxury when so little time is spent in the room as all day is spent in the parks? Breakfast buffet has a good choice and is always fresh. Regular free shuttle to the park which takes about 7-8 minutes. Excellent value for money, it provides us with what we need.
The best thing about my stay was...Clean hotel, friendly staff, convenient and easy access to the Parks.
