Geared up for family fun
Disneyland Paris has brought the magic of Walt Disney to the outskirts of Paris. Take your family to the land where dreams can come true. There are two parks – Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios, with an exciting range of zones waiting to be discovered. The park has seven Disney hotels as well as over 50 places to eat. The whole area is geared up for family fun.
Race Lightning McQueen
The Disneyland Park has 5 exciting zones including Frontierland, home to the renowned and terrifying Big Thunder Mountain. Fantasyland is where Disney’s favourite characters come to life – perhaps spend an afternoon with Peter Pan. Budding Jedi Knights will love Discoveryland and the Jedi Academy. Walt Disney Studios helps bring the movie business to life. Take the studio tour and see how films are created. Younger children will love the Toon Studios – head to Cars Quatre Roues Rallye and line alongside Lightning McQueen in a thrilling race.
Walk along Main Street
The whole park has a magical feel. Children will thrill at the sight of their favourite characters as they walk along Main Street USA. Fans of Sleeping Beauty can marvel at the incredible light display of the Disney Dream show with the famous castle as the backdrop. It is not necessary to stay in one of the themed Disney hotels, park tickets can be purchased separately and you may choose to enjoy the delights of nearby Paris as part of your visit.
Things to do in Disneyland Paris
Eat and drink in Disneyland Paris
There are over 50 places to eat and drink within Disneyland Paris. You can eat your way around the world if you choose to. There are themed restaurants such as Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon, perfect for a chow down with the family. The children will love the wagons and the cowboy themed décor. Many of the hotels offer meal packages which may mean all your dining is taken care of. The parks also offer a good range of places for you to take a break with coffee and a piece of cake. For a slice of Mad Men, head to the New York Bar within the Disney New York Hotel. The wood panelled bar is a great place to unwind after a day of park activity.
If you really want to eat well, try Paris. It’s a short distance away by train from Marne la Vallée.
Disneyland Paris nightlife
Disneyland Paris is probably not the number one party destination. Families will enjoy the restaurants and bars within the hotels but you are not going to find Goofy and Buzz Lightyear rocking the night away. If you need a slice of real life you can hit the bright lights of Paris, easily reached by taxi or train. Be warned, the parks open early and the children will want you there so don’t overdo it.
Shopping in Disneyland Paris
As you would imagine, the shopping opportunities in Disney are endless but mostly Disney themed. If you want the latest Elsa outfit or need a Woody to go with Buzz then the Disney Village is the place to head. If you don’t want to spend any more money than you already have you might like to steer the kids away from the village. The flea markets and boulevards of Paris are littered with high end fashion boutiques and jewellers if the need to shop over powers you.
Things to see in Disneyland Paris
The two parks combined have such a wide range of rides and interactive experiences that it can be difficult to squeeze it all in. There are some rides and events that stand out above the rest and it is a good idea to plan your day around them. Arrive early, be prepared to queue and enjoy it all! The daily Disney Magic on Parade is a must – you get the chance to see all your favourite characters as they pass by. The Disney Dream show held in front of Sleeping Beauties Castle is memorable and stunning. For a spot of thrill seeking the classic Big Thunder Mountain is always hard to beat in Frontierland. Horror fans will enjoy the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Finish off your trip with a personal meet ‘n’ greet with the man himself, Mickey Mouse.
Call in to the Village and sample the famous American Breakfast complete with pancakes and maple syrup. Your breakfast will arrive on roller skates as the waitresses carefully glide their way to your booth.
Lunch with Disney Princes & Princesses
Set in the beautiful Auberge de Cendrillon in Fantasyland, this is a real wonderland experience. Your favourite fairy tale characters are on hand as you enjoy a magical evening meal. This needs to be booked in advance.
Stay in the Disneyland Hotel
Treat yourself to a stay at the enchanting Disneyland Hotel – a beautiful building right at the heart of the park. The magic of Disney is all around and the family will thrill at the little details like the grand Mickey Mouse clock tower.

Room basic and clean.. Food plenty something to suit our group of 11.. The blonde female bar staff very rude though.. Talking and sniggering among themselves when ordering a beer.. Pint of beer €6.90 and €7.50 for cocktails
The best thing about my stay was...Free shuttle to the parks only 10 minutes away

Love to travel , UK
Great hotel! Comfy beds, with lots of extras - loved the farm, the Disney gift-shop and the breakfast was delicious! They just need to serve it until 11am-11.30am.
The best thing about my stay was...The farm and gift shop

Stayed 4 times now and absolutely love it The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels left. Handy for the park with frequent buses although a little bit packed in the evening.
The best thing about my stay was...Comfortable beds and ample breakfast

Average but cheap
In terms of good points the hotel staff were very friendly, it was clean, the shuttle bus was always frequent and didn’t take long at all to get to the parks, it was reasonably priced, always managed to get a seat at breakfast, and the animal farm was a lovely touch. The bad points were that it was noisy (our room was on the end so next to the slamming door to the outside and the stairs up to the second floor which were wooden), the food was expensive (£22.99 for adults for dinner), beds were uncomfortable (hard mattresses and the ‘double’ was 2 singles pushed together), the shower temperature was either boiling or too cold, although we weren’t cold the heating didn’t heat up to the set temperature, not really any light food (bar served burger and hotdogs but all overpriced).
The best thing about my stay was...Friendly staff and cheaper than staying on/ close to the resort

considering it is a hotel with facilities for young children the staff were not very friendly and didn't really seem to care about their customers. they did not provide us with what we needed in our hotel room, the heating was broke - whilst we were there it was also snowing, wasn't anything we could buy at the hotel that we need it was extremely over priced; as well as the breakfast and dinner, we were going to be charger 90 euros for two of us to have dinner for one night, the excuse was it was a buffet. overall not very impressed with the hotel and wouldn't recommend, i know they say you get what you pay for but good service doesn't cost anything.
The best thing about my stay was...the regular buses to the Disneyland park and train station.

Well worth a stay

Been to this hotel before but booking through AlphaRooms we got a very good price. Perfect for a cheap place to stay for Disneyland Paris as it has a free shuttle service for the park. Rooms were clean and quite spacious and included a kettle for tea/coffee.
The best thing about my stay was...Very good price

Clean rooms, but poor hygiene in restaurant. Food was terrible. Long queues outside the building for the breakfast. Could not get regular coffee in the hotel or around it, everywhere were just an instant coffee drinks from coffee machines. Staff was polite but not very helpful. Had a problem to get 2 glasses of ice cubes from the bar in to my room. The children were happy with the bouncy castle and the small farm, but I was not impressed with wild rats around the animals. Free shuttle makes easy to get Disneyland and train station in about 7 minutes.
The best thing about my stay was...Close to Disneyland

ottimo per visitare disneyland paris
enrico cavallaro, italia
The best thing about my stay was...vicinanza ai parchi
