another fantastic holiday in excellent hotel

Just returned from staying at the royal azur and have to say the hotel wad even better than before. As I' d stayed there in August this time we were given an upgrade with a beautiful beach view. Again the staff could not have done more for us to make our holiday special. We paid and went into the spa swimming pool and wow, highly recommend a visit and great value for money. The hotel is ideally situated for coffee shops, try the German coffee shop to the right of yhe hotel and the gift shop opposite. Both great value and well worth a visit. Hope to go back soon to this hotel as it gets better each time I visit.

The best thing about my stay was...

The spa pool, atmosphere in the hotel really the whole holiday!

Lovely Setting

Stayed here with my wife and 2 children from 23-30th July. The hotel has a really nice setting. On the top of a hill with steps downtown a fantastic beach. The rooms are small but nice. Although the bedding wasn't changed until we left the maid a note and a tip asking to change the sheets. Even though it states they will be changed every 3 days. The food is brilliant. In fact better than any carribean hotels we have been too. The drinks are really good too. You don't have to drink out of plastic cups. Pool big. Our only concern is the bedroom front doors. There is a gap under every one of them of around 1/4 of an inch. One morning I woke early and found a huge cockroach coming through. After this we got the staff to spray well. We also put wet towels down to create a seal. There was quite a few cockroaches around the resort which is the only thing that puts me off ever returning. They was walking around on the ceilings in the toilets and bars. Otherwise a fantastic holiday

Hotel should be sold as a 3* not a 5*

The hotel looks great from the outside, the pool area is good and the beach is within walking distance (about 3 minutes). The foyer and reception area look OK too. However, the rooms are not up to the standard of a 5*. There were no tea and coffee facilities, no iron and towels were not changed on a daily basis so you had to request fresh towels. The bedding and the drapes were very drab looking - could do with updating. If I ever visited Tunisia again, I would not stay at this hotel.

Review of 'JANDIA PRINCESS'

A VERY GOOD HOTEL, FOOD CHOICES AT ALL MEALS VARIED AND VERY GOOD STANDARD. THE ALL INCLUSIVE OPTION THAT HAS ONLY RECENTLY STARTED IS VERY GOOD VALUE. THE ONLY FAULT I COULD SEE WAS ON THE ENTERTAINMENT SIDE WHICH WAS GOOD BUT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. ALL THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND MADE IT A VERY ENJOYABLE STAY FOR BOTH MY WIFE AND MYSELF. THE STEPS AND DIFFERENT LEVELS OF THIS PARTICULAR HOTEL MAY PROVE A LITTLE DIFFICULT FOR ANYONE WHO IS DISABLED. THE TOWN OF JANDIA IS ONLY A EURO BUS RIDE AWAY AND HAS MANY SHOPS/PUBS/RESTAURANTS.<br />THERE IS ONLY ONE BRITISH BAR AT THE MOMENT WHICH SHOWS THE USUAL SPORTS CHANNELS FOOTBALL ETC. ALL IN ALL A VERY ENJOYABLE STAY AND YOU CAN EVEN POP NEXT DOOR TO THE SISTER HOTEL THE FUERTEVENTURA PRINCESS HOTEL, ALTHOUGH YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR DRINKS THERE.
