Not much going on!!
Lovely room and location is the best in Playa Blanca. Food was disappointing as everything was luke warm. Breakfasts were good. Nighttime entertainment was almost non existent and held in lobby with no atmosphere. Think they need to rename the fun pub cause certainly not much fun in there. Maybe it's better in the club for the privileged guests!!
The best thing about my stay was...Room

Quality hotel. Efficient helpful staff.
Hotel is superb but the junior suite we booked did not have a sunny balcony. As soon a better room became available we were moved without fuss to a room where the view was far better and the sunsets beautiful.
The best thing about my stay was...Good location, always able to get a sun bed and felt uncrowded even though the hotel was full.

NO SUN, NO STARS, NO GOOD
G C ARNOLD, N. Ireland
THIS IS A STRANGE HOTEL. I EXPECTED A BALCONY WHERE I COULD SIT IN THE SUN DURING THE DAY AND RELAX AT NIGHT WITH A GLASS OF SOMETHING. AFTER COMPLAINING WE WERE SHOWN ANOTHER ROOM NEARLY OUTSIDE THE COMPLEX. THIS WAS A NO SUN ROOM WITH A TREE AND A SEWER COVER TO LOOK AT. EXHAUSTED WE TOOK THE SECOND ROOM. THE HOTEL HAS A TWO TIER SYSTEM. CLUB AND THE OTHERS. THE ROOM WAS A LITTLE FADED BUT THE LARGE BED WAS GOOD. WE WERE NOT ASKED ABOUT AN UPGRADE. HAD ONE EVENING MEAL IN THE BUFFET RESTAURANT MEAL THE WAS PRETTY AVERAGE AND AN AWFUL MEAL IN THE ITALIAN RESTAURANT. THIS DELIGHTFUL HOLIDAY WAS THEN RUINED BY MYSELF TAKING A BOUT OF V&D WITH THREE DAYS LEFT. GOT HOME AGAINST THE DOCTORS ADVICE AND AM STILL FEELING A BIT QUEESY. THERE WAS SOME ENTERTAINMENT IN THE NEARLY FINISHED DOWNSTAIRS BAR, BUT ONLY LASTED 20 MINS ON THE WEDNESDAY AND AN HOUR ON THE THURSDAY. THE GIRL SAID THEY WENT ON TO THE , CLUB , THERE MIGHT WELL BE A FIVE STAR ELEMENT TO THIS HOTEL BUT I CERTAINLY DID NOT FIND IT. MY ADVICE WOULD BE TO ASK FOR A SOUTH EAST FACING BALCONY THAT HAS THE SUN DURING THE DAY. THE RECEPTION STAFF APPEARED SOMEWHAT STUFFY
The best thing about my stay was...THE BREAKFASTS ARE EXCELLENT BUT SPOILT BY A LONG BLACK HAIR IN MY WIFES FRIED EGG

Excellent Accomodation Otherwise Disappointing
John Taggart, Co. Wicklow, Ireland
The accommodation and location were excellent. Apart from the high quality service in reception area the service was very hit and miss. The common areas were not properly cleaned and the service at the pool bar was the worst I have experienced.
The best thing about my stay was...The accomodation and location
