March 2018 5 nights
Really good value for Money considering how much they've done to the rooms and Spa since it was Best Age Hotel. The only down side was the charge to use the Spa after the initial complimentary session. The staff seem so much more friendly and helpful too. I went for the upgrade from room only to include breakfast for an additional 5 euro per night. Great value as the food was excellent and very varied. The roof terrace on the second block is still open. Paths that lead to the west coast beaches can be found at the bottom of the street outside of the hotel. A really nice hike of about 2 hours return.
The best thing about my stay was...New Spa.

Picked this hotel from the internet. Good reviews justified. Excellent refurbishment, our room 212 had not been used. Overlooked the pool area. Very comfortable and well equipped but no kettle. Breakfast choice was good but coffee machine not up to 4 star standard. Staff excellent especially reception team who were always helpful and positive. we preferred location away from the beach giving us a quiet peaceful stay. Would be concerned when hotel fully booked as some rooms had no view. New gym and spa facilities impressive. Very slow free Wi-Fi in public areas. Was told pay Wi-fi broke down for two days.
The best thing about my stay was...Very quiet during our stay, first week of December. Great pool area and facilities

Best Age is a great place to stay if you want a peaceful winter holiday in the sun with good service. All the staff are helpful and friendly and the restaurant food is plentiful and a good quality. Only drawback is that the pools are on the cool side.
The best thing about my stay was...Peaceful, no children.

Stayed here January 2015. Lovely friendly hotel, clean and welcoming and peaceful. Loads of choice at buffet breakfast and evening meal with microwave (in case food wasn't hot enough)!! Hotel located up a slight hill but not far from beach and local shops and a market just down the road twice a week. We did not venture far as we wanted a relaxing holiday with like minded people and that is exactly what we got!
The best thing about my stay was...Massive swimming pool with loads of beds and hardly anyone using them!

A wonderful stay
Debs, Kent, UK
We stayed at the Best Age Fuerteventura on a bed and breakfast basis for a week from Boxing Day and had a wonderful time. An adults only hotel, it was delightful. We were allocated a suite which was lovely – living area, sleeping area, bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. There was a large sun terrace with two sun beds, a table and two chairs. Breakfast was excellent – fresh, varied, plentiful, friendly staff, good service (especially by the egg man!). The pool looked very inviting but was unheated and extremely cold – very rarely used. The fitness room was disappointing – very basic, old equipment, no free weights. However, we enjoyed the exercise classes. The spa was lovely and we enjoyed the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. We were usually the only guests using it. It seemed to be busier from about 17.00. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace – private sunbathing during the day and star gazing with drinks there in the evenings. Again, we were usually the only guests there. Wifi was free only in reception and was very slow. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach or 10 minutes by hotel courtesy bus to Playa Esmerelda; it’s a five minute walk to small supermarkets. There were not many restaurants in the area but we did find two which we frequented three nights each and were never disappointed – L’Avenida (excellent fish of the day and steak meals) and Las Tapas de la Abuela (good chicken, fish and tapas meals). For a romantic, adults only break, this hotel is lovely. If you are looking for entertainment to be provided and a buzzing atmosphere you need to go elsewhere.
The best thing about my stay was...Quietness! Roof top terrace, spa, excellent breakfasts.

A good, well run hotel.
This is my second stay at The Best Age. Check in was quick and the The room was comfortable. The staff are very nice, helpful and efficient. The food was good, with plenty for all tastes
The best thing about my stay was...The hotel is in a quiet area, but easy to get to the bus stop in Costa Calma.

Very quiet location
Lyn, Kent, UK
Suitable for adults looking for a very peaceful holiday. Some entertainment every other evening. Not much going on during the day including little opportunity to purchase food if your not full board. Nice Tappas bar and small market twice a week at the bottom of the hill. Great, friendly staff, especially Rockay the all singing, all dancing barman.
The best thing about my stay was...Adult only

Good value for money
Hotel lived up to expectations and was a good location to explore from. The Spa was packed on the evenings I used it but empty in the mornings. The roof terrace is on the middle block and was not sign posted but was very well equipped with beds/loungers and a shower plus very good artificial grass - superb views too. Avoid the on-site supermarket - overpriced. There's a decent one 5mins walk down the hill along with some bars and cafes. A couple of minutes passed those is a very trendy bar but it did show the Champions League footie. On the Road up out of town was a very good bar in the first main shopping centre. Good atmosphere and food. Costa Calma beaches were pretty busy for the time of year (March) but the town was very quiet at night. Local buses were plentiful and cheap (Bono card 2E's plus a third off).
The best thing about my stay was...Room 300 - Sun all day.

Great little hotel badly let down by the food
The welcome and service was great. The staff are very accomodating and the hotel is spotlessly clean. It is far way from the beach but we knew that when we booked so this was not a downside for us. The hotel lays on a shuttle bus down to the beach, but we hired a car which was very useful for all other trips out too. We asked to be moved to a sea view room and the staff were happy to accommodate our request when one became available. This was definitely worth doing in order to enjoy mornings and evenings sitting on the balcony, enjoying the sun. The best thing about it all was the use of the fabulous spa facilities- sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, all free and unlimited. Treatments are available for an extra cost (40 - 60 Euros depending). Sadly, the food is the thing we liked the least. Breakfasts were OK- there was choice of sweet and savoury items and plentiful fruit. However, the quality of some of the items ie fruit juices and natural yoghurt, was edible but doubtful. The evening meals were a real hit and miss affair. Some evenings, there were delicious items, 3 out of 10 evenings (prawns, mussels), and other nights it was difficult to say that the meal was enjoyable. If they could make the evening meals less bland, with more of a choice on the buffet and better quality cuts of meat, it would round things out very nicely. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the place, had a relaxing break and would consider going back there, but only on a B&B basis.
The best thing about my stay was...The unlimited access to the sauna!
