Just returned from a weekend stay here and have no complaints whatsoever. The staff worked very hard and were always busy, the hotel and pool area kept very clean enjoyed our stay very much. It is about a 10 min walk downhill to the beach.
The best thing about my stay was...The best thing about our stay was that the hotel was quiet and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely brilliant for a 3 star.
Adz, Cardiff, UK
After reading all the reviews, I was nervous arriving at the hotel but it was perfect. Staff were nice, beds were comfy and very peaceful in the room. Only reason why not a 10 is the lack of desserts to choose from and entertainment was a bit poor.
The best thing about my stay was...Peaceful and nice pool areas.

Holiday from hell
Tara - Belfast, Northern Ireland
food awful (but if you like sprouts for breakfast your elected) it was as if the food was the left overs from the day before - not a good variety - bar staff NOT friendly at all (called other holiday makers a pack of animals because they were singing - defo wont be back !!! An experience to say the least - no way could you spend a week here thankfully we only had to stick it for 3 days!!!!!
The best thing about my stay was...nothing

Had a lovely stay the hotel was very clean and the food was fine you got what you needed. I would say the beds were not to comtable a bit to firm for me. There is a steep walk down hill to get to beach but tbere are taxies at the bottom if you dont want to walk back up. The beach is beautiful and there are plenty of shops and bars and eating places. Would stay here again. Value for the money. Also only 15min from airport.
The best thing about my stay was...The beach

Bad points: on arrival the hotel had no booking for us. Told us we could stay in a 2 bed room for 1 night until they transferred us to another hotel. Finally found a room big enough where we stayed for the duration. Having booked half board, we were a little surprised to be told we had to pay for all drinks with our meal - only allowed water free of charge!! Usual problems of apartment life - noisy neighbours (Germans at 4:30am getting back from their drinking binges), shouting, banging doors, late night 'unthoutghtfulness'. On the good side: friendly staff, daily housekeeping, clean facilities, pool well maintained, plenty of restaurant space (food not the best quality - processed ham and cheese, wierd sausage and ratatouile for breakfast. Generally OK though.
The best thing about my stay was...The weather was fab & kids were hardly out of the pool.

first week of season so very quiet
Lynn Herbert, Nottingham
we (a group of 6 adults) was at this hotel the first week of reopening, there was only about 40 guests incuding us, the rooms are nice and clean. maids came in daily, the food is ok, but everything seemed to be served cold but there is a microwave for you to reheat your food, as it was the first week of season the hotel had a few teething problems ie problems with hot water and electricity in our rooms but they sorted it within a few hours of our arrival, and my parents room not being ready at all so was offered a different room which turned out to be a better room with the balcony being a lovely sun trap. most of the staff are very friendly and could'nt do enough for you, always happy to help, overall a very happy and clean hotel, the entertainment girl Agata is doing her best at getting guests involved in activities. there is a number 23 bus just along the road that runs every 20 mins that takes you to palma for 1e25c it also runs along the beach, or you can walk to the beach in about 15 mins but there is a steep incline for about 100 yards on the way there. there is a market not far from the hotel on a thursday that sells leather goods, shoes, clothing. there is a play area for children on the hotel grounds. 5 min walk aways is a variaty of shops and restaurants, my overall view of the hotel is the hotel is in a nice area, the staff are very nice, rooms are nice, everything is clean, but food could be better.

Having read lot`s of reviews on the hotel i was a bit concerned (nearly all bad) i was very surprised at what a great little hotel this was. Food was ok always something you could eat, bar was brill selfservice so no waiting to be served, pool area was nice and clean and you could always get a sun bed. The hotel at night was a bit noisy but poeple are on holiday and the staff were really friendly and always willing to help. To some up this is a very nice cheap 3* all inclusive hotel and i`ve been to a lot worse.
The best thing about my stay was...Nice cheap 3* all inclusive hotel

we found this hotel to be very clean and all the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were a reasonable size, unfortunately the room we had had a very creaky bed, and after speaking to a few other people it seems so do many of the other rooms. The food was quite nice on the whole, sometimes a few funny combinations, but plenty to choose from, the drink was available from 10.30 till 11.00 and was on a serve yourself basis for beer, wine, soft drinks, juice and hot drinks, local spirits were served by the staff. The hotel is a bit out of the way and although they advertise a free bus to the beach there wasn't one while we were there so it is quite a walk down to the front, about 15 mins, also the resort is very much german, we only came across 3 english bars. Not much going on in the hotel in the evening while we were there, one game of bingo a night and that was your lot, might get better later in season, but i'm not so sure, on the whole it was not a bad holiday for what we paid for it.

Nice hotel for a good price
The Costa Verde is a nice hotel with basic rooms. The rooms and the bathroom are very clean though. It has a nice pool. The staff is not always that friendly but okay. The food is also quite good. The hotel is located at the end of arenal. this is perfect if you want to stay in arenal but not in the busy part. You can walk to the beach and the nightlife area.

Marvellous Hotel. Excellent staff and service. Food couldn't be faulted. Not the best location in the world but the hotel and the staff more than compensated for this. The town is a bit shabby with all the usual souvenir shops selling the same stuff but don't let this put you off the hotel and what it has to offer. Would recommend it to anyone!
