Hotel Cala Bona in Majorca
James Anthony Robinson, Nottingham
Excellent superior room with Bril sea/habour view (well worth the extra money with kettle & fridge, included) very good standard of food in the restaurant, hotel entertainment of cruise standard (very good) "in short a quality hotel in a great location"

The hotel is clean, well decorated and in a great location. Regarding the room, the air conditioning was noisy and inefficient. The bathroom, poorly ventilated. Breakfast service and quality poor - probably due to too few staff for the number of guests. Did not get to the pool as it was always full of towels by 8.00am The staff are friendly and courteous unless you have a problem when they become a bit dismissive. Would only recommend the hotel if booking the most expensive rooms with sea view and not including meals.
The best thing about my stay was...Days at the beach and evenings around the harbour.

A great place to stay.
Terence Shaw, Tideswell
We had a very enjoyable stay at the Cala Bona hotel. The hotel is in a very good location, we were pleased that we opted for a room overlooking the harbor. The room was both clean and comfortable but there was an extra charge for tea making facilities which we normally expect to be free. The pool was small but adequate although hotel policy regarding reserving sunbeds was not enforced. The entertainment in the bar was really good and we thought that it had the best atmosphere in the whole resort. The restaurant was a very pleasant place to eat and the food was plentiful and of good quality and choice. We would recommend this hotel to anybody.
The best thing about my stay was...Hotel location, the food and of course the weather.

peaceful & relaxing
M MCMENEMY, Glasgow
My fiance & I stayed at the Hotel Cala Bona for the 1st time between 14th-21st June 2012. As we had checked out the hotel on a previous visit to Cala Bona, we were aware of the layout of the hotel & we were a bit apprehensive, as we hadn't been able to secure a seaview room. We needn't have worried, we had requested a room in the 'Azul' block if no sea views available & this was accommodated. The room was a good size with a balcony overlooking a quiet road to the rear of the block. It was nice & peaceful & when we wanted something a bit livelier we headed along to the bar block. As an ex travel consultant who has stayed in various types of accommodation - from 1* to 5*, I was very impressed with the Hotel Cala Bona. The room & public areas were spotless, the food in the restaurant was of a very good quality & the staff were lovely & very helpful. The pool area did become a bit crowded but we were always able to get sunbeds & sometimes we left our swimming until late afternoon when most of the other guests headed off to get ready for dinner. This is a 3* rated hotel and people should remember that some of the rooms are pretty basic, however if you want something with a bit more finesse, then pay the extra for a superior room. I have stayed in some 4* hotels where the rooms, food & entertainment are nowhere near as good as the Cala Bona. We are in our fifties, so maybe the fact that most of the other guests (by no means all) were a bit older, suited us. We had a fabulous holiday & will definately return to the Hotel Cala bona.
The best thing about my stay was...The great atmosphere in both the resort & the hotel.

Absolutely excellent hotel
Mr P Schofield, Bolton.
I can think of only one small criticism of the Cala Bona Hotel, that being that in the dining room some of the tables are too close together. The hotel is furnished to a high standard, one half having recently been rebuilt. The staff in all areas are so friendly and professional, with nothing being too much trouble. The standard of the rooms is very high, being very clean and well maintained. Food in the restaurant is of the best quality I have ever experienced in a Spanish hotel and cooked and presented beautifully. The bar area is part of the recently rebuilt section and is comfortable and well policed by the efficient waiters, whilst the nightly entertainment is quite acceptable. The location of the hotel is fantastic. We will happily re-visit soon.
The best thing about my stay was...The location and quality of food.

8 nights in July 2011
David Walker, Southport
Utterly fantastic. Great breakfast, fabulous pool, brilliant staff and in the evening it seemed that it was the hub of Cala Bona life. We asked for a superior room with the sun on the balcony late afternoon and that was precisely what we got. For myself and my partner it was the best holiday we've ever had.
The best thing about my stay was...The whole 8 days.

Fabulous!! Definitely going back next year!!!!!
Linda Granger, Bournemouth
We had a wonderful holiday at the Cala Bona hotel! We stayed in the newly refurbished rooms which are beautiful, especially if you pay the extra for a sea view, which I must add is just soooo worth it!! The hotel is particularly clean, rooms seemed to be done every day and changed towels if you wished. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We are booking for next year but with the whole family this time as it was just my sister and mum that went with myself. The location is just beautiful too!! Dont hesitate, just do it!!! :o)
The best thing about my stay was...Everything!!
