Poor customer service and lack of communication
D Bailey, Liverpool
I decided to stayed for one night at the Feathers in Liverpool as friends were coming from out of town and thought I would be a fantastic idea for me to stay as well. How wrong was I! In actual fact I should have stayed at home and got a taxis back at the end of the night. The first room I checked into was on the top floor. So when I finally arrived into the room is was greeted by stains on the sheets and top gold counter pain and a dirty bathroom with hair on the toilet. Following a trip back down stairs to reception to explain why I wanted a room change I was granted one. Only to find in the morning that I had no running water in the new room. I complained to the manager again who told me to move rooms once again so I could have a bath. I had explained that this was fully unacceptable. In turn he did offer me a refund and would contact me by email to advise that this has been done. I have since been back to the hotel twice as nothing has been sorted and I am still waiting for a full refund. I have found the service poor and the communication even worse. The hotel is not as clean as other cheaper competitor and they certainly are not able to compete. First and last time at the Feathers
