Great Hotel. Awful Entertainment
Barney, West Midlands
Great Hotel. The room was great and there was a large selection of food, but like any hotel, the meat was cheaper cuts so lacked a bit of flavour, but that will be the same wherever you stay. Its in an excellent position at the southern end of Costa calma, right next to the Playa Esmirelda Naturist Beach, where you can walk a good 20 miles naked if you wish. The entertainment was exceptionally poor with the hotel employed entertainment team "The Animacion Team" actually miming to every song. I may as well have put my ipod on. Some of the nightly acts were proffesionals from outside, and were well worth watching, but dont bother with the resident entertainers. I would definitely stay at the hotel again, but would avoid the entertainment and read a book somewhere quiet
The best thing about my stay was...The location to the Naturist Beach

A holiday to remember.
Geoff Wall-Davis, Longbridge, Birmingham.
Our stay at the H10 Playa Esmeralda at Costs Calma Fuerterventura was a most enjoyable experience. The hotel was ideally situated and the local shopping centres and bus stops were about 20/30 minutes walk away. The hotel's facilities were plentiful and the beach was out of this World. The catering facilities were of the normal very high standard which you can expect from H10. twice a day there is a free bus which comes to the hotel to give the residents an opportunity to visit the must see Oasis Park. There is also a bus route to Moirejable which is an enjoyable day out. The hotel's very approachable manager Jiska and her team of staff are a credit to H10. One day we will return to the beautiful island of Costa Salma, and with out doubt will stay at this hotel.
The best thing about my stay was...The many happy memories which will stay with us for ever.

A lovely hotel
Joanne Navin, Exmouth
This hotel is situated on the edge of Costa Calma, with beautiful views of the beach. We picked this hotel for it location to Rene Egli kitesurfing centre. The service from all the staff was very good. Our room, though not in the best position was excellent and cleaned every day. The food was excellent, having stayed in lots of AI hotels, I was very impressed with the variety on offer. Drinks were good, entertainment was ok, same old thing. A mainly German hotel, which isn't a problem, just a handful of Brits, all in all a very enjoyable stay.
The best thing about my stay was...The beach

Fantastic Hotel, laid back atmosphere & lovely staff
Michelle Bradburn, St Helens Merseyside
Fantastic location with breath taking views. The staff are very helpful, the food was delicious, the rooms were large, with comfortable beds & very clean. It was nice to go all inclusive & not be treated like a heard of cattle! the staff in the resaurant & bars were very attentive, they are constantly checking to see if plates etc need clearing & it didn`t feel like being in a school canteen, unlike some hotels I have stayed in. The only down point I have is that the only place you can have a drink in the evening as an all inclusive guest is the one bar & the entertainment here is aimed more at children. Dont forget to take a fleece, jacket or similar for in the evening. The hotel is quite high up, the winds can be very strong & so it can feel quite cool.
The best thing about my stay was...The location & the views from the balcony restaurant

We stayed AI, food was excellent especially the choice of fish, outside dining area spectacular, overlooking the ocean. Pleasant relaxing stay
Have stayed here several times. Whilst there is some evidence of cost cutting and a few silly rules, overall it is a pleasant hotel. The majority of guests are German, and most staff speak better German than English as their second language. Food is buffet style and we find the experience a little tedious after a few days, though the food is fair to good. Rooms are pleasant and well maintained. There is little to do in Costa Calma - if you seek nightlife do not bother!
The best thing about my stay was...Beaches

We've been to the area 6 or 7 times and to this hotel 3 times. Hotel Esmerelda is perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday away from the center of the resort. Excelent position on the beach, consistently well-maintained grounds and buildings, good food and friendly and helpful staff (and the sun usually shines),what more could you ask for?

Have stayed @ this hotel 3 times now, as we like the position it is in, food is good but the vegetables are nearly always cold. Spa area is a joke considering the size of the hotel, just one tiny sauna 4 people in & it is packed!!! and the steam room closed. The rooms are ok but looking a little tired now, think it could do with being refurbished. The staff are very friendly, especially Veronica & Pilar, made sure we always had a good table (as there were 4 of us). I would go again but have put on questionnaire about spa area again!!!

Fine hotel. I will repeat it in a future. Quite. Adequate for a relaxing stay. Only sun, sand and adequate foods.
