Beyond the parks

Eat and drink in Walt Disney World Resort
There are more than 475 restaurants, snack shacks and counter services around Walt Disney World, each with its own unique menu and specialities. Eat breakfast, lunch or dinner alongside your Disney favourites with character dining offered at many of the resort restaurants. Savour a variety of culinary delights at Disney Springs with a wide selection of waterfront cafes, high-end restaurants and quick-service counters.
Have a list of resort restaurants you want to visit during your trip? Make all dining reservations in advance as walk-up and same-day reservations are quite difficult.
Walt Disney World Resort Nightlife
Disney World Resort is perhaps not the number one party destination, however there are some places which offer a choice of nightlife, from the casual BoardWalk to the much larger multi-area Disney Springs. The BoardWalk is part of a hotel near Epcot –start at the Flying Fish Café and finish at the Jellyrolls piano bar. As you make your way there enjoy the delights of the boardwalk entertainers. Disney Springs also offers some nightlife, with favourites Raglan Road, Bongos and Paradiso 37 which can all be lively in the evenings.
From the BoardWalk you can see night time Epcot fireworks and illuminations without going to the park.

Each park has everything Disney you could ever wish for, a pair of ears for yourself, a costume for your prince or princess or a Mickey Mouse to sit alongside your Minnie Mouse. The Epcot World Showcase is the ultimate place for one-stop-shopping, with more than 65 boutiques, emporiums and merchants offering goods from over 11 nations.
Disney Springs offers a unique shopping experience with vibrant walkways and an eclectic mix of boutiques, eateries and entertainment. You’ll find big-name brands and rare finds scattered around the Town Center and West Side of the Springs. The Marketplace offers the country’s largest collection of Disney merchandise from much-loved classics to one-of-a-kind items.

Animal Kingdom is an animal conservation park which explores the stories of all animals – real, imaginary and extinct. Learn about the animals who call Animal Kingdom their home on the ‘Kilimanjaro Safari’, a 4x4 tour through the Savannah where you can catch a glimpse of lions, elephants, giraffes and rhinos, as well as a few other surprises. Embark on an exhilarating expedition through the Himalayas on ‘Expedition Everest’ and become part of the pack at the ‘Festival of the Lion King’, where you can sing along and enjoy the show.
