Not too far out- if you like to walk and use publi transport

The region is fine- plenty of shops and a cinema nearby.

Bit far out

The location is a little far out from the action but being a third of the way from the airport handy for quick disposal of baggage. The centre of Barcelona is only a 20 minute Metro journey away and quite welcoming after a hard days sightseeing. The Metro system is very easy to navigate and a 10 journey ticket was adequate for our 3 day stay. Due to our hotel being situated very close to the motorway and a hospital we didn't really explore the area that much. We did have stunning views at night of the surrounding lights and with the airport being quite close we could watch the arriving and departing planes.
