Magnificant Cordoba

Quite simply, one of the most fantastic cities in Spain.

The best thing about my stay was ...

Its history, and preservation of historic sites.

Lovely old town

Beautiful historic centre with the Mezquita centrally located. The other sites are also worth a look - the bridge and the Alcazar etc. Try Bar Santos for the best Tortilla Espanola and cold beer, sitting outside on the Mezquita wall with the locals - great!

You should see the Patios

The city centre is quite compact, and is easy to explore on foot. There is an excellent bus service with a single standard price for any one journey. The travel guides will give you all the information about the Mezquita, the Alcazar and so no, so I won't. Go in May for the Festival of the Patios - wear comfortable shoes and don't try to see too many in one day.

The best thing about my stay was ...

The Patios in May

A nice old town with many tourist attractions.

A very nice old town. Has both an old town with many old buildings and monuments, and a new town with lots of shops and bars.

The best thing about my stay was ...

El Alcázar, La Mezquita and the river Geníl.
