10/10 Amazing

Peaceful

This is a quiet destination very close to the airport, providing a quick & cheap transfer (25 euro, in taxi). There is little at the resort, a few shops, bars & restaurants. Though being on a weekend break, I didn't venture far from the hotel poolside! I have been before & will go again, but for a shortbreak only, to explore the resort I think you'd need time & a car. The mountain views from the hotel are inviting....

The best thing about my stay was ...

Location proximity to airport

Pleasant location, surprisingly calm and peaceful

The hotel is a large 1970's style construction, right next door to the Hotel Maijoris, which is similar in construction. It never felt as if we were overcrowded or herded about, it had a secluded, "well-behaved" feel about it and is situated in a quiet suburban neighbourhood, in nice gardens and scrubby pine woodland, on the fringes of the main tourist centres around the Bay of Palma. It's popular with families, cyclists and golfers, particularly German, Dutch and British. I would recommend you hire a car and drive round the island, parts of which are unspoilt and very beautiful, but best keep away from Palma itself unless you are familiar with driving on Spanish roads.

The best thing about my stay was ...

It's well away from the main tourist resorts around the Bay of Palma, which can become very overcrowded in the high season.

Urbanisation

The Delta is located in an urbanisation close to a golf course, some restaurants and shops and the beach club. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel and you can travel to Arenal and Palma. The Delta is approx 15 mins from airport.

residential but a short walk gets fabulous views

This is basically a residential area with one other hotel. There is a small shopping area outside the hotel a a Mercadona close by. There is no,i repeat,no night life of any description and we were reliant on hotel entertainment. The area is very clean and very quiet and feels perfectly sake to wander round after dark.

The best thing about my stay was ...

Only 20 minutes from airport and away from rowdy nightlife

Maioris Cabo Blanco

Predominantly Spanish area at the moment ,lovely flats and surroundings with a popular restaurant/small shopping area nearby. Lots of newly built villas all lying empty.Coastline here is rocky but picturesque in parts.10 mins on local bus takes you into Arenal which is a bustling resort. Most people spending time here to would be advised to hire a car to get around.
