Buzzing really lively

It was like being on holiday, eventhough we only came from Waterford it was like being abroad. Obviously I'm not talking about the weather but it was good while we were in town. Waiters from Restaurants were in the street looking for punters, loads of people about, a really buzzing hot spot. Lots of groups, couples and families wandering about. Only minutes from the shopping areas of Grafton, Henry and O Connell street. It is also surrounded by art galleries and cultural activities, not so much of the stag and hen capital i remembered.

The friendliness and music gave it a great atmosphere!

It offered a great choice of places to eat, a lovely contrast of old and modern aspects of the city and Dublin life. We loved the culture of music, poetry & literature, clothing and youth. The area had a great atmosphere which had a real cosmopolitan holiday feel. We loved Buskers Bar and Gourmet Burger Kitchen in the evenings, The Queen of Tarts and Lemon Crepe & Coffee Co. in the afternoon, followed by a trad session in Oliver St. John Gogarty's or The Temple Bar Pub. Also live music in Mezz. Lots of great shopping too in St. George's Arcade: clothing, music, gifts, etc.

Stunning city which is as must to see

Dublin was a lovely city which me and my husband both loved. Temple bar is full of pubs so is perfect for a drinking weekend away. The hard rock cafe is situated on the strip and offers a vast selection of cocktails for 5 euros each or pints for just 4 euros. this area is perfect for anyone wanting to sample the local guinness!!

Dublin, a fantastic venue

Temple Bar is a vibrant and exiting place to visit and was ideally suited to my requirements on this, my fist trip to Dublin. Handy for the main shopping streets, a central base for sight seeing and culturally very stimulating. A little on the noisy side at three in the morning, but there you go!

The best thing about my stay was ...
