Praia da Rocha - Good beach

Praia da Rocha have one of the biggest beaches in Portugal. The beach have all the facilities and is very clean. On the mains street, we can find a lots of goods restaurants and bars, supermarkets, hotels, rent-a-car and stores. It's a bit confused by night, but less than Albufeira. Trying to find some of the best fish restaurants, is better to go to the north of Portimão (near the old bridge) and try the grilled sardines. Is cheaper and better than the sea side. I highly recommend Portimão for holidays!

Hotel na 3 gwiazdki

Hotel i baseny dość spore. Pokoje z aneksem kuchennym i całym potrzebnym wyposażeniem.

This was a 7 euro taxi ride and we went twice to eat. The restaurant was very cheap and had the best food and service of our holiday!Starters, Sardines, salad, a litre of wine and coffee for 25 euros.

Lovely beach

Portimao has a lovely beach but not all of it is accessible to most people. Its quite a steep drop to beach and most of it has many steps. Certainly not for the disabled! Our accommodation was at far end of resort and had a beach accessible from the apartment. The promenade did not extend as far as where we were so the road was both hard to walk and dangerous. Along the coast of Portimao is lovely with a lovely promenade and shops and restaurants along it.

The best thing about my stay was ...

White sandy beach
