A pleasent place to visit

We are a family of six who visited Mellieha and the Pergola Hotel and Spa during Easter 2018. The village of Mellieha is pleasent to walk around and has a multitude of shops and restauraunts to suit every pocket. There was a lot of building work taking place when we visited, but this shows that the village is improving and not just standing still. There is a beautiful church and a stunning view over Mellieha Bay which is picture postcard beautiful! If you walk down to the bay, you will find restauraunts and coffee shops as well as a beautiful sandy beach. Public transport is very good giving you access to much of Malta and the Gozo ferry is a short 10 minute bus journey away. A pleasent place to visit.

Great - something for everyone

Largely uncommercialised but yet has all you require. Loads of restaurants in the main town - many quite similar - pizza, pasta etc did not have a bad meal Less successful in the beach resort down the hill although a great setting Upmarket both the Arches and Rebekkas were truly fantastic but not cheap The little mini market oposite the main entrance to Pergola Hotel has all main requirements and is cheaper than the markets on the main street.

The best thing about my stay was ...

Rebekkas Restaurant

A nice, hilly village that probably caters for married couples.

A nice, hilly village that probably caters for married couples moreso than singles. We attended a wedding reception there and it couldnt have been more suitable.. The town is a little hilly for those who dont enjoy climbing hills in heat but very pretty also. Some nice places to eat, Ta' Peters serving excellent local fish and the Maratimes Pizzeria catering for all needs.

not for young people looking for fun, good for the familyes

If you are young and looking for fun-do not go there))) Milleha is sooo far from everything, but the town is perfect for the families, there is a nice beach for kids there.

The best thing about my stay was ...

Close to the town where you can get a ferry to Gozo and Comino islands and amazing restaurant called Rebecas!
