Xlendi is the most beautiful resort, very small but lots of restaurants and a couple of bars. There is a regular bus service to Victoria where you can get other buses to anywhere on the island or go to the ferry and visit malta for the day. Travel is very cheap. The bus from the ferry to the airport is 2.60euros it's a long ride, but you see lots of malta! It is a lively resort, but not noisey just busy. We have been several times it's so relaxing, some lovely cliff walks and amazing views.

The best thing about my stay was ...

The people, helpful, friendly just lovely.

The perfect holiday

I have been visiting Gozo for 10 years and love it! It is the only place I know where you mix with the locals from day 1 and I have some of my closest friends there now. The island is quiet and relaxed but if you did want a livelier time that is also there, you just have to look a little deeper or ask the right people!! It's very quaint with lots to look at and if you like walking then your in for a treat! My favourite place is Xlendi with its lovely views and restaurants the food and service is amazing.

Excellent walking holiday

The aim of the visit was to walk all round the coast of Gozo. This left little time for any other sightseeing. The coast is beautiful with plenty of opportunity to swim, although beaches are rare. Other than the 2 main resorts and the capital, Victoria, there are few shops, cafes, etc even where people gather to swim.

The best thing about my stay was ...

Clear seas and beautiful coastal views.

Gozo was a lovely island to visit but I felt 2 weeks was to long and I should have split my holiday between Gozo and Malta to complete a better understanding of the history of these islands
