So much to do, so little time
Michael Bishop, Birkenhead
Honestly, take a week. We spent two days in Berlin and didn't see half as much as what we wanted to. The place is magnificent in its size and splendour. Interestingly for a capital city, the public transport is second to none - easily the most efficient rail network I've ever seen. You won't be waiting more than ten minutes for a train ever. Even if you did, you can get beers in the station for 60c - which other capital city can boast that? We would advise taking a tour bus of the sights - will cost around 15 euros - and you can hop on/off wherever you like. Everyone speaks English to some degree, if you're nervous of overcoming the language barrier. Apart from the border control, everyone was also extremely friendly and welcoming, even for a large group of drinkers from England like ourselves.
The best thing about my stay was ...
The people, the architecture...everything.
